Businessman Donald Trump was back on top of the Republican presidential contest according to a national poll released Monday by the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The survey, conducted by YouGov America under the direction of the UMass Poll, found that Trump polled at 31 percent among likely GOP primary voters compared to retired surgeon Ben Carson's 22 percent. The closest opponent of the battling frontrunners was Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) at 13 percent while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) polled at 9 percent.
When asked who their second choice for the Republican nomination would be, respondents who supported Trump chose Carson and vice versa. Trump and Carson also were the overwhelming choices for the candidates who have the best chance at winning at 40 and 24 percent, respectively, according to the survey.

"My concern is if Trump actually gets the republican nomination, how he will do against Hitlary and the demodummies.Trump will do better against any of the others.
He has a lot of cross over appeal and (non communist) democrat voters are almost as sick of Washington as we are.

Similarly to how he did against Fiorina.

How could Dr Ben Nyquil be #2 after the last debate and the Isis bastards slaughtering innocents in Paris? The Carson/SDA food pyramid from Loma Linda.
There are many causes for vitamin B12 deficiency.
Surprisingly, two of them are practices often undertaken to improve health:
1. Vegetarian diet
2. weight-loss surgery.
http://chriskresser.com/b12-deficiency-a-silent-epidemic-with-serious-consequences/
A primary sign of low B12 levels is a constant lack of energy.
Oct 26, 2015 - On Friday in Miami, Trump had ripped Carson for having even less energy than Jeb Bush, whom Trump has called low-energy.

>> Trump has so far been right about the major issues facing us.
That, and he has PROVEN problem SOLVING skills. I am a Cruz supporter but I’ll admit that Trump has better, and better proven, problem analysis and solving skills than any of the other candidates in either party.

Fox and its masters in the GOPe hierarchy are looking for another loser to replace Jeb. They're looking for anyone who will compel real conservatives to stay home on election day.

I should have added: I expected that he would have gotten a boost after chastising an audience member about calling out a certain “traitor-in-chief.” Surprise, surprise!

I have some concerns about Trump, but beating Hillary is not one of those.
However I’m deeply concerned that Hillary would beat Ben Carson like a rented mule. It would be “nice guy Romney” redux, only worse.

I compared this poll with last week in the same poll. I want to ponit out a couple of noteworthy facts. Carson was 1 point ahead of Trump last week. After his kookification in only 7 days he has plummeted 7 points. Trying to his mom in the head with a hammer and stabbing a belt buckle has hurt the man. Trump ,on the other hand was seen as a much stronger candidate in the exchange with Carson and surges fro 23% to 31%. HUGE.
Mt second observation in comparing the pols only 1 week apart is Cruz was at 8% and now 13%!! Marco ,the establishment boy, plummets from 12% on November 7th to 9% on November 17!!
This poll is ostensibly with “Primary goers “ which is the proper polling sample. But I still think it is massaged away from Trump. Trump is a 39% in other polls today but I do like the clear results on Carson and Rubio. Adios boys.

Rubio should not be in the race. Both of his parents were Cub an citizens at the time of his birth. No way is he a natural born citizen. In the unlikely even that he wins the nominations, Democrats will raise a huge controversy that will scare off numerous voters. There are also rumors of various scandals involving him. True or not, Democrats will spread them. To nominate him might be a way to throw the election to Dems.

So long as Trump does not get 50+ % it is all irrelevant. Bush wins. Trump, to even have his name entered into the convention for nomination must get majorities in 8 primaries. Bush is expected to get 8 majorities in those primaries that occur in the normally Democrat voting states. If not then he will be withdrawn in favor of, it looks like now, Rubio. If the GOPe designee doesn’t get that 8 majorities then the rules will be changed again. The Republican nominee will most probably be the GOPe designee. The Conservatives should all have run in a separate Republican set of primaries to a separate Republican convention without reference to the GOPe candidate.

I think any Republican will probably “lose” to whatever Democrat. The Democrats have far too much advantage in extraordinary voting and in vote counting.

I like Cruz best but I think Trump is most apt to actually do what is necessary and the chances of that are better if he has Cruz as his VP. Santorum should be part of the team but not at the top.

And that is why he is on top of polls - this in spite of MSM and others trashing him. A week or less ago I again heard pundits on TV saying, “Trump is finished.” Once again they were wrong.
