House Speaker Paul Ryan says not to expect any Donald Trump-style mass deportations under his watch.
In a "60 Minutes" profile that aired Sunday, Ryan told interviewer Scott Pelley he doesn't advocate the GOP presidential front-runner's plan to deport every illegal immigrant.
"I can't imagine how it could happen," Ryan said.
Ryan, who at 45 is the youngest House speaker since the 1860s, said he doesn't see the job as a long-term proposition.
"I was just planning on serving out my tenure as Ways and Means chair, and then going finding out something else to do with my life," he said. "I really don't know how long this is going to last. This wasn't something I was planning on doing in the first place." In fact, Ryan had to have his arm twisted to take the job. He has three children between the ages of 10 and 13 and said he didn't want to spend weekends away from them and attending fundraisers all over the country. His wife, Janna, agreed.

We have laws and Trump will collide with those if he becomes president. Paul Ryan is speaking of laws when he says, “I can’t imagine how it could happen.” Because Trump says it doesn’t mean it will happen. Every person he wants to deport will have to go to court to determine if the person is illegal. Trump doesn’t believe that but he is no judge and judges say that has to happen. Paul Ryan knows the laws and Trump does not or he is ignoring them (our present president ignores them, too.

I was wondering about that, there were 2 other people running against mc carthy when he was running, what happened to them? Why didn’t they run against ryan?
Would ryan be willing to secure the borders? or is that ‘not going to happen on his watch’?
Doesn’t each new congress get to elect it’s own speaker? What guarantee does he have that he will even be reelected and then elected speaker again?
So the GOPe seeks to take Trump’s number one promise away,
If that’s the case Ryan will have the shortest Speakership in US history!
The public will no longer put up with his and the GOPe’s donkey act.
During the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln threw some members of Congress in jail who didn’t get with the program.
I hope this practice makes a comeback under a future Trump Administration.
ONLY NINE REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS VOTED AGAINST PAUL RYAN FOR SPEAKER.
That means about 240 others need to be replaced and if they can’t be beaten in the GOP primary, run a third party and if you can’t do that have a write-in candidate.

If Obama decides to override all the laws and do an executive amnesty, Ryan is cool with that. If a President Trump decides to enforce the laws and send illegals home, NOT ON HIS WATCH. That tells me that he is a NWO plant and a traitor.
Nothing unexpected. The Freedom Caucus knew what it was getting with Ryan. There are NO conservatives in the House.None of them are on the side of the people who elected them. Elections to Congress are elections to choose who will faithfully represent the Chamber of Congress.
As are all House members.
He does not have a serious conservative primary challenger.

Man, if I have a light bulb out on my license plate, I get a ticket. But if you break the law and come to this country illegally the government wil give you housing and free education for your children and free medical care ahead of citizens and food stamps and any of hundreds of other available freebies that come out of the pockets of the citizens.
