Ann Coulter reacted to the Paris terrorist attack tonight by declaring "no more Muslim immigration" and touting Donald Trump on that particular issue.
In a string of tweets tonight, Coulter said that the obvious answer to stopping terrorism in the United States is to "stop importing Muslims"

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN? French people ran onto the street with signs that said, 'Je Suis Charlie'! Why didn't that stop this? 7:15 PM - 13 Nov 2015

Paris death toll up to 100. U.S. college students need to tell Parisians about real violence from Halloween costumes & "trigger words."

Every year, the US imports 100K more Muslims to live here permanently. Rubio says he wants more. Why would anyone support him?

This will be long forgotten by election time.
Let’s see - in last two weeks ISIS took down a Russian plane killing over 200 and did a low-tech brutal series of attacks in Paris killing over 100. Europe has imported thousands of Jihadists believing them to be refugees. We have taken in hundreds who may also fit this profile. ISIS has shown themselves to be far more aggressive than AQ and we are presently bombing them along with Europe.
This problem is not going away and there will absolutely be more of these attacks in the next year.
On top of that, as I stated on another thread the immigration issue is not only about terrorism - it’s about jobs, the economy, education, health care, debt, crime, quality of life, etc etc. This issue is an absolute winner because it impacts so many things beyond our security. I can’t tell you how many union democrats I have heard in the last three months who say exactly what Trump did.
This is the issue and it won’t go away.
I hope the same for Marine LePen in France. And Nigel Farage in the UK.
Trump’s Texas speech was great - as hard on illegal immigration as he has always been. And he alone, until just recently Cruz joined in. But Trump is strong on deporting the illegals that are here, something Cruz only references along with ‘other’ solutions. Could be amnesty (anyone getting to stay at all is getting amnesty, no matter how politicians try to spin it.) Trump is beholden to nobody - he referenced that in his speech too - so he won’t be changing his mind from pressure from the Chamber of Commerce.
He was extremely entertaining, which is what it takes to get people to listen to you for an entire hour. If he just read from an outline, you’d say he was organized and his grammar was perfect - for the 5 minutes before the audience fell asleep.
Trump said from the beginning that Syrian refugees were a Trojan horse. He also said he would send them back. Long before anyone else, and stood alone - until proven right. Like with many other issues.
don’t go bringing truth about Trump into this debate.....no one wants to hear it.
Well, my point is that Ann “Romney will save us/Romney can’t win/Cruz isn’t eligible/Christie is the one” Coulter is hardly the person I look to for political insight. She’s the female version of Dick Morris.
Sorry but Trump was. He was the first one to discuss immigration. Cruz will make a good VP. GO TRUMP.
Hey, GeorgiaGirl, tell you what.
Why don’t you post some more about how the murders in Paris are good for Trump with your little smiley face?
Because that’s always a pleasant thing to see.
Why isn’t he resonating with people? People chose some of the others over him.
“So we need a theologian as president?”
No, but we do need a true “Christian” to lead this country. Ted Cruz is the real deal. Besides, understanding the “theology” helps one grasp the true situation. Cruz does, as does Huckabee.
Mr. Trump is, in my opinion, is only a “nominal” Christian. It is not who he is, nor does it influence his actions as it should.
Another Trumpster trying to give credit to Trump for everything out of Cruz's mouth.
Won't work.
Cruz was against the importation of Syrian refugees in September and October.
” relatives of people killed by legals come up and tell their stories. “

Oh,my !
:-)
.
You are correct - not to further the nitpicking of my candidate or yours, but Cruz said no to the Syrian refugees long ago.
With that said, there is no doubt that immigration has been and will continue to be Trump’s issue. He was there first in a politically incorrect fashion that slapped America in the face when most realized they agreed with him.
I say that even as Cruz is the guy I like the most.
Aren’t terrorist training camps protected under the First Amendment?
They have to be because they have been in the country long enough.
Being neither smart nor sane is pretty much the sure fire result of 14 centuries of theologically sanctioned inbreeding.
Cruz is putting himself into the national spotlight more, and displaying more aggression. I think he’ll make it his issue.
You're assuming no other terrorist attacks will take place between now and the first primaries.
We've already had the Russian plane attacks and now the Paris attacks within two weeks of each other. I doubt the terrorists will take a break in the next few months.
Their attacks will only drive Trump's courageous stance and profile even higher.
My first thought as well.
“This is the issue and it won’t go away.”
Don’t forget, Pooty-poot owes ISIS a “big one”, and, no doubt, he’s biding his time. You are right, this will NOT go away, no matter how much “black lives matter”, and people’s “safe spaces” are probably going to be invaded. Rather spectacularly.

We all know Trump has been front and center on this issue. But Cruz is quick to grab at opportunity unlike the rest of the pack. It will hopefully earn him VP on Trump’s ticket.
