Donald Trump hit Ben Carson in a new Instagram ad, in which he wondered if his fellow GOP front-runner is a "violent criminal" or a "pathological liar."
The ad, released in honor of Friday the 13th, features an old Carson interview where he describes an incident in his childhood when he tried to stab someone in the abdomen. The Carson clip is followed by a clip of an old neighbor of his who said he never knew Carson to be that violent of a person.
Directly following, Trump's team asks whether or not Carson is a "violent criminal or a pathological liar," adding that "we don't need either as president."
Spooky music plays throughout the ad, playing off Friday being Friday the 13th.

Give Carson the nomination and the media will destroy him the next day. Carson fanboys/fangirls will be stunned as Carson the mumbling/stammering/rambling twit gets exposed as a mumbling/stammering/rambling twit. Shocking!
LOL. Trumps doesn’t seem to feed off the criticism. If this keeps up he’ll be at a 110% approval rating by the election.
<< Carson is a wannabe Nascar driver who thinks he can wear the suit, the helmet and with enough sponsors names on his Pinto he will win the Daytona 500. >>
Let me tell you where Carson lost me as being a viable candidate. I remember he said he didn’t really think he could win until lots of people told him he could. That is a paraphrase of course, but that is exactly what he said.
I have to have a candidate who knows who he is from the start, regardless of the investors around him. Trump came in with guns blazing, on all the hard stuff, saying the unspeakable and brought truth, honesty and the American way into a Republican primary that has always been owned by the Establishment.
Conservatives were tokens on a chess board and the Establishment guy always, ALWAYS won. The Establishment will win again if the COMPLEX aligned against Trump is successful and can take him out.
If Trump can be taken down, no other candidate will stand. Except of course, the protected Establishment pick, who will then be handed the nomination.
Let’s see how Trump fares come February and March, when Republican primary voters choose actual delegates.
Yep.
You having another bed wetting event here, again?
LOL!! When you guys are nervous, insulting and well on the way to hysterics, I know Trump is pushing all the right buttons.
And, look at that Reuters poll on DRUDGE. Yikes! You should stay worried. Trump is like 34% with the nearest opponent at 19%! (Carson)
The prissy crowd is in a real panic!
State your position as a candidate and what separates you from your opponents. In the general election if you want to go all out against Hillary that’s fine but Trump calling fellow Republicans names(ugly or liar) or insulting whole states, drags the whole field down. There is a reason Trump has the highest unfavorable rating among voters.
I agree with everything you say...
Trump is the real deal, he doesn’t lie, he says it like it is, (to bad if it offends you, get over it) and first and foremost he is an AMERICAN and is fighting for AMERICA...and that right there is something that the other candidates are ‘mouthing’ but are not doing or not have done
GO TRUMP GO!!!
Trump has the highest “unfavorables” because the old school Republicans are in high panic, Democrats are in disarray, and Trump is polling with Dems as the toughest competition against Hillary.
Those numbers are EXACTLY what a revolution should look like.
I agree. As hard as this is to watch its not much worse than what Romney did to Newt in Florida with millions in negative ads. That was just evisceration. If Romney had been that vicious to Obama he would be President today.
Its no worse that the Goldwater Pins that said “In your heart you know he’s right but in your guts you think he’s nuts”
Trump has multiple problems as his own party is trying to take him down along with his competitors and the MSM. He is going to have to go negative or go home. In a month or two there is about $10 million in negative ads that are going to be dumped on Trump before Iowa and NH. He needs a big lead.
Some kind of strategic move. Maybe Trump is trying to move the overcrowded field along and throwing gas on the fire. May be a test to see how strong his following really is. If not strong enough he may know it is time to cut his losses.
Things are blowing up aren’t they! I actually see a resistance movement gathering around TRUMP, in revolt. The old school Republicans are still aghast at what political resistance looks like!
It is likely to be a wildfire soon!
Do you realize Establishment donors (at least one anyway) actually said that his barber wants TRUMP, his cabbie wants TRUMP and it’s everywhere on the ground. He is staying out for now with his own money because of the staying power of Trump, and also even Carson. This is some kind of political peak that will galvanize America, I believe.
Thanks, dearest, as you lead the way home!
I agree, something about Carson just doesn’t seem right to me. That being said Trump sounded like he was out of control during his rant and it showed no class whatsoever on his part. However if it came down to Trump or Carson, I would take Trump, but Cruz is better than both.
That stuff is easy to explain away. I’m currently most curious whether he has disavowed his known business relationships with organized crime.
“By your standard, did God give us abortion loving Romney?”
I don’t understand how this is a response to anything I’ve said.
Carson goes on the media circuit making confessions about his violence. Pretty substantial talk, but no one has seems to have seen it.

When your competition is drowning, hand ‘em a fire hose.
Ray Kroc, founder of McDonalds.
Kick ‘em when they’re down? Hell yes, that’s the best time!
Carson may have been a brilliant surgeon, and say things that conservatives desperately want and need to hear, but I’m starting to fear he’s rather off his rocker in some ways, not something you want in your nominee...
Another political insider threat against Trump? Nearly half the Republicans and others supporting one guy but some insider committee or delegate will tell tens of millions of voters to f*** off? Who they going to pick? Bush?
I'd pay to watch that.
