OK, Christie was doing pretty well until he said he’d fly Air Force One over the Chinese artificial islands. Yeah, right. No way the Secret Service is going to allow that.
I agree, way to many still in the running.
I’m bored already. These guys aren’t on my list of candidates. Time for them to move along!
Yeah, he's getting real old, but want to say that I saw him in concert once.
Jindal is comparing his record to that of Christie. Says that we need to send a conservative to Washington, not just a Republican.
There wouldn’t be 8 people in it if Jeb was in the top 3 like he was supposed to be.
And that is rounded up! :)
Ditto!
This isn’t 2 hours long, is it?
I think I might be switching to the Norma Shearer movie on TCM at 8.
Agreed!
Christie: I won in a blue state.
Yeah because your like one.
I can respect that and good for you...
Me? Santana, Pearl Jam, Vince Gill and ZZ Top...in Texas...cheers!
LOL!
Me too...Ricks off the rails there.
Christie is really soon well...staying on point AGAINST the Hildebeast. Maybe a Christie VEEP? He gets in some good zingers...
Jindal won’t gain any support trashing those governors who happen to be standing next to him because they also are polling in the low single digits.
Been watching for about 10 minutes.
Huckabee not too convincing on handling Syrian refugees when he was one of those pro-amnesty governors.
Christie not convincing that he would out-hack the Chinese hackers. And flying AF-1 over the Chinese manufactured islands? Give me a break.
Mods have been impressive, so far. They ask their questions and let the candidates answer.
My assessment thus far:
Jindal has done well with separating his economic views from those of Huckabee and Christie. I think that he has done the best thus far. He is appealing to economic conservatives.
Christie is a good orator and has done well from that standpoint. However, he is appealing toward the moderates.
Santorum has done well, but has stayed out of the back and forth.
Huckabee perhaps has done the worst (thus far). He (along with Christie) has been hurt by Jindal’s attacks, and he has to appeal to a more conservative audience than Christie.
Jindal is dead meat
I don’t see how any of these lower tier candidates expect to gain any traction.
Jindal is a nitpicking jerkwad. The other three are doing well in comparison. Santorum is a bit of a deer in the headlights though.
