Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker will appear with Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at an event near Milwaukee touting school choice.

The event Monday comes the day before Bush participates in the next Republican presidential debate in Milwaukee.

It will mark the first time Walker has appeared publicly with a Republican presidential candidate since he dropped out of the race on Sept. 21.

Hispanics for School Choice announced the joint appearance Friday.

Rubio planned a Monday afternoon rally in Pewaukee, outside of Milwaukee, before joining Republican state lawmakers and Walker for a fundraiser hosted by Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos. He and 19 other Republican lawmakers recently endorsed Rubio for president.

I wonder if Walker will wind up endorsing Jeb. I had high hopes for Walker originally, but the more he talks the more establishment he sounds on just about every issue other than the public unions.

I think he’s hedging his bets based on RNC assurance that Jeb will get the nomination come hell or high water. Perhaps he’s thinking about second on the ticket.

RNC assurance that Jeb will get the nomination come hell or high water

It's quite likely that the RNC will push the convention delegates to nominate Jeb no matter how poorly he does with the popular vote - i.e. Jeb "loses" every primary and caucus but still gets the nomination. At the very least, they can manipulate the system so that every unpledged delegate votes for Jeb.

I wonder if the RNC has the same kind of “super delegate” votes that the Democrats do. In that case, it really wouldn’t matter what the vote says.

Yes, it’s become increasingly clear that Jeb AND RUBIO are the GOPe puppets/designated nominee.

I don’t think CW was very happy with me, but I jumped on Walker with both feet once I realize she was hawking him. She supported Rick Perry last time. It will be interesting who she supports next time.

I’m not sure what could prove you more right than crawling over to Bush to help float his boat.

School choice is something I believe in, but Bush’s recent history on Hispanic (illegal alien) issues views leaves him the absolute wrong guy to champion anything Hispanic related at this time. It also makes him untouchable for a Conservative.

I had quite a bit of respect for Walker at one point. I didn’t see him as presidential. Now he has lost what once respect I had for him.

Bush is the worst candidate I’ve ever seen. He has said 15 - 20 things each one that would have eliminated him from my support. Now Walker supports him?

In a word, pathetic.

The GOP doesn’t call them “Super-Delegates,” but there are unpledged delegates representing the RNC, not sure how many per state or whether there are enough of them to override pledged delegate votes.
