College caught shredding Constitution in undercover video 'It's an oppressive document'

James O’Keefe’s latest undercover video shows professors at two prestigious private universities openly disparaging, and in one case shredding, the U.S. Constitution.

Project Veritas, O’Keefe’s undercover journalism unit, sent a female journalist disguised as a student to Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and to Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio.

She got commitments from leadership at each to shred the Constitution, and in the case of Vassar, Project Veritas’ undercover cameras captured the official shredding of the U.S. Constitution.

Kelly Grab, assistant director of equal opportunity at Vassar College, was captured on video saying: “Yes, I think we have a shredder in the front office there. Did you want to do it with me?”

The incident unfurls when an undercover PV journalist relates her personal story of being confronted on campus with someone handing out copies of the U.S. Constitution.

“It really upset me and I ended up having a panic attack,” she says.

“Oh, Cato Institute,” Grab says.

The undercover student then says she started to “hyper ventilate” and “lost control.”

“I didn’t realize this happened but I just realized the Constitution is kind of a trigger for me,” she said.

Grab then goes into counseling mode and indulges the student in her bizarre phobia.

“We don’t want to limit people in exchanging ideas or having opposing viewpoints, but when it’s disruptive or causing harm…”

“Yeah, which I think the Constitution does,” the student says. “I mean, it’s not just me. It’s, I mean I thought Vassar wanted to create like a safe place here, you know a place where students could walk around and not be scared of seeing discriminating things on campus.”

‘A teachable moment’

The counselor shakes her head approvingly and asks if there is some kind of “teachable moment” that can be gleaned from

Freedom is too much for the student to handle.

Freedom is oppressive?

This kid should be sent to a mental institution in North Korea. It's the apex of the society that she longs for. I think it would be a good use of our tax money.

After she's been there a few decades she could “contrast and compare” in a theme paper whether or not the freedoms in our Constitution are oppressive compared to the bitter reality of Socialism that's preached by her “wise” professors.

How does the Constitution differ from the nonsensical statements made by drug addled celebrities when they make political comments?

When Big Government leads to a society similar to what they had in Germany in the 1930’s will that be a good thing? Do you think that the German Jews wish that they had the US Constitution governing Germany? Do you think that they wish they had the 2nd amendment when the Nazi soldiers came to take them away?

Is there any difference between the media's slavish conformity when it comes to sticking to the extreme Leftwing agenda that comes from our Democrat politicians in our present day US government and Gobbel’s German “journalism” of the 1930’s and 1940’s?

Did you enjoy your stay at the “Worker's Paradise” asylum run by Kim Dung?

Vassar... hah.. Normal..many Connecticut and Metro NYC, BMW driving Trustafarians used to stink up Vassar on their way to polluting Vermont... was lefty loony in the early 80’s when i was rowdy teen...we often went Vassar to kick the cr@p out of hippies there for fun... the local boys even used sheep shears one particularly scurvy unit... protesting Reagan bombing Libya...

Yeah it was wrong but dang it was fun!

Easy analogue to Lenin’s boast that Capitalists will sell Communists the rope to hang them. The US Constitution (w Amendments) protects free speech, freedom to assembled & other RIGHTS that should be treasured by academics.

Perhaps a seance with academics from Nazi Germany, Soviet Union, & Mao’s China would be useful?

And if I ever see somebody burning Old Glory or shredding the Constitution, my First Amendment says they get a fat lip.

Well then, perhaps we should strip liberal professors of their constitutional rights.

The bozos who shredded the Constitution should be fired and blackballed. If they aren't, their employers should be cut off from all government funding. Period.

Do you think that the German Jews wish that they had the US Constitution governing Germany?

I believe that the Weimar Republic did have a constitution of sorts. But given the many crisis of the time, they decided that it was more important to elect a savior as their chancellor. Guess who THAT was...

Once in office, he began working to overthrow the constitution and place his will as the ultimate law. Sound familiar?

One would think so, but not in this bizzaro world we live in. The above mentioned rights, protected by the Constitution of the USA, are limited, if not out-right banned on many university campuses.
