On The Laura Ingraham Show, House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) refused to say whether he supports curbing immigration levels. Jordan cited concerns of employers that the United States may need more workers because too many Americans are on drugs.
“I hear from all kinds of employers, they say they can’t find people to work,†Jordan said, “And one of the reasons they cite… is that there’s a number of people who can’t pass the drug screen.â€

Time to start making Congressmen pass a drug test given on a weekly basis.
The fact that America may or may not need foreign workers has NOTHING to do with the flooding of America with individuals with NO skills to further sap the welfare system.
Not everyone, or anyone(?), follows the example set by you, Jim, and the rest of the worhtless scum in congress.
You want more foreign workers so you can get generous "contributions" from big business, who wants cheap foreign labor while Americans are pushed out of their jobs!
He’s got the right demographic (the gibsmedats) but he fails to understand that most aren’t looking for work. There are many educated hard working people looking or jobs but they aren’t PC compatible so the affirmative action hires are recruited instead.

Muslims say the same thing as Jordan and further, that when they spread Islam to the US that will all end.
I do see some of that where I work. We can find a good person to hire, but after we tell them to pee in a cup, we never see them again. Some people don’t even bother to apply. They get more money from welfare, so why work for just above minimum?
According to the plain statements by Jeb!, Americans can no longer fashion a great nation through child birth. It will require “aspirational youth” from south of the border.
If a nation of 300M+ people *need* to import more people then something else is wrong. Perhaps our ‘wealth redistribution’ schemes need to be revisited.

a lot of good smart people lost their jobs during the recession. Once you are out of work for a year or more..you get blacklisted..it’s unfair and hiring managers need to give people a chance ..jmo

This statement by Jordan is why I am not impressed with “consistent Conservatives” when it comes to immigration, trade deals, amnesty, etc. On these issues, consistent conservatism does not rule out national suicide.
Some of them would just refuse to pee in a cup to prove they were clean. Others were openly honest with responses like "I think I'll look around some more. I'm only on week 44 of 99 weeks of unemployment."

Disagree. They are on drugs because they are losers. Can’t find a job, can’t pay for health insurance, birth control, cell phones, food, but have money for drugs. Poor people always manage to find money for alcohol, cigarettes and drugs. Strange.
