Exclusive– GOP Campaigns Agree to Cut RNC Out of Debate Process, Negotiate Directly with Networks
Breitbart ^ | Nov 1, 2015 | Matthew Boyle

The 2016 GOP presidential campaigns agreed on Sunday evening to cut the Republican National Committee (RNC) out of the debate negotiation process and instead deal directly with networks moderating debates, Breitbart News has learned.

Corey Lewandowski, the campaign manager for frontrunner Donald Trump, confirmed to Breitbart News via phone on Sunday that the “biggest consensus” of five separate points the GOP campaigns agreed on was cutting the RNC out of the negotiations with the networks, as the campaigns would each like to negotiate with the networks directly.

In response to the revelation that the RNC will be cut out of the process, RNC chief spokesman Sean Spicer—the party’s point man on handling debates until now—said the RNC stands ready to help the candidates in any way they can.

My advice to the candidates on debates is: 1. Demand a multi-million dollar bond, to be paid UP FRONT by the network, to be paid to the candidates if the network pulls a CNBC. 2. The candidates elect a referee or judge to sit at the debate, and shut it down if any repeat of CNBC occurs, forfeiting the bond. I would recommend Judge Napolitano, Dick Cheney, or Newt or someone else that they choose to serve as the referee.

It’s great they bypassed the RNC but what “networks” will they negotiate with? Not the lame stream I hope.

They really have to. You saw going on an off network station like they did last week cost them 10 million viewers. That can’t continue. We need to have people watch the debates.

Carson sets a tone, all right. Are you thinking he should head up Dept of Rest? His voice lulls me to sleep.

I saw that Jeb snoozing pic earlier & showed it to some folks .... we’ve all been laughing about it for hours. I cannot imagine how badly his campaign hates that picture being on Drudge.

There’s a pic of a book cover for Hilly, too ... she’s pointing a gun out at somebody. My take on it would be that particular view of Hilly is probably the last thing Vince Foster saw.

Drudge is just “killing it” tonight. :-)

Could the RNC keep them out of the convention in retaliation? Not put them on “the ticket”?

“Yet another change of position of Trump, who before has argued for fewer candidates on stage”

The sentence says only that CARSON wants all the candidates on the same stage. All it says about Trump is that he sits on top of the polls along with Carson.
