Hey all, I certainly wasn't expecting to be posting a vanity like this when this morning started. Mrs. Doomonyou and I moved to Texas a month or two ago fulfilling a five year dream to get out of CA for a red state and God answered big time. We're still getting moved in and the new job is going great. As a result of getting out from behind a desk and out in the field I'm away from a total A hole boss. Anyway, I dumped about 18 pounds just being more active and out of the stress. So two weeks ago I'm starting to feel kind of bloated and full all the time and tired due to having problems falling asleep. I've been eating as much as comes out the backside which isn't Much. This morning I saw my Doc, had blood, urine work and a CT scan. Wasn't sure what to expect.
Still praying .
prayers up and God bless you
When is your appointment at MD Anderson?
Let us know. I live just outside of Houston and could see you there if you want. Will be in the Pacific NW from 12/3 - 12/8. Other than that, I’m pretty flexible.
I’m also a patient at MDA.
Praying for you! Hope things go well.
My sister actually did quite well with chemo for the 3 years she fought. The worst for her was (usually) being completely tired for several days. She also was annoyed by the metallic taste in her mouth and consequent lack of appetite. But rarely did she have nastier effects.
Of course, chemo really is different for everyone and everything. I was surprised how well sis did, expecting her to be stomach sick and everything. But it’s not always how the pop culture portrays it.
Wishing you the best for this trying time!
Prayer Warriors....some pretty good news from Doomonyou.

My husband did lose his hair on his head and his body.
He went to the haircut place and had the hair on his head shaved off so it wouldn’t clog up the drain or anything because he and the rest of us already had enough to contend with.
The guy that cuts his hair didn’t believe him when he said he was losing handfuls. I don’t think he really wanted to shave his head.
My husband yanked out an enormous handful right in front of him and said, “See? I told you!”
He still laughs about it when he tells that story. The look on the guy’s face. He was shocked.
Don’t worry. It’ll grow back later. :)
Prayers continuing!
Keeping all you in my prayers. Keep fighting the good fight.
Praying for peace and serenity for you and family
You are in good spirits. Good.
The oncology nurses are the best. You will be pampered and spoiled for two hours.
Damn brother! Prayers for you and your family! I love that with all you are going through, you are still able to maintain a sense of humor. It speaks volumes about your character and I hope that if I am ever in such trying circumstances that I could handle it with the same panache that you have.
Rest up and know that you have a lot of folks in your corner.
Prayers.
Check out the latest at # 353 .
Thank you, Doomonyou. ... We are all still with you, praying and holding your hand every step of the way.
Prayers for strength and good health to return.
Prayers up. Hang in there. You gotta’ come back to Idaho to dove hunt, so get well soon!
BTTT
When my wife was undergoing Chemo, I invented a concoction she loved ... LOADED with protein;
In a blender
a half or a whole banana,
beat in a couple of tbsp sunflower seeds with banana before continueing
1 raw egg,
1 tbsp peanut butter,
One scoop V ice cream (expensive real cream stuff),
1 or 2 tbsp fruit (Debbie liked strawberries)
whatever room is left was for whole milk from the farm
a little sugar or honey because all that stuff is not naturally sweet
Yummy, fattening and filling
Continued prayers for you and your family....
Prayers continue.
Great news! Prayers continue!
