Registered Republican Voters Pick Trump as the Winner and Bush as the Loser of Wednesday Nightâs Debate
One America News Network, âOANâ, a credible source for 24/7 national and international news, announces its post-debate poll results taken immediately after Wednesday nightâs GOP Debate in Boulder, Colorado.
New York real estate mogul Donald Trump remains in first place with 32.7 percent.
Dr. Ben Carson trails Trump by just over 10 points, landing in second with 22.6 percent.
Rounding out the top three is Senator Marco Rubio at 14.5 percent.
As for the winners and losers in Wednesday nightâs debate, over 1,500 registered Republicans were asked, âWho do you think won the debate?â
Republicans across the United States pick Donald Trump as the winner with 26.7 percent of the vote followed by Senator Marco Rubio, taking second place, at 21.1 percent. Senator Ted Cruz finishes in third place with 17.3 percent of the vote.
When asked, âWho to you think lost the debate?â polled voters put former Governor Jeb Bush on top with 26.2 percent of the vote, closely followed by Senator Rand Paul at 24.2%. John Kasich received 15.0 percent of the responses.

“I want Cruz in a bad way “

Bidda-boom! Try the veal.
IIRC, OANN has some other outfit that does their actual polling. Presumably this outfit is a professional house of some sort.
That is obvious, but debate isn’t all there is. I want a results oriented person.
Go Cruz! ;-)
I don't have a problem with the polls, I just had never heard of OAN before this election. It must be a newbie polling company.
I don’t think there was “blind voting” at all. They asked specific questions.
Go Trump!
You didn’t see the flat tax plan with speech put out by Cruz Pre-Debate yesterday? It was highly touted and very patriotic.
“won”
That question wa bait to get Huck to take Trump and himself out. Huch knew it and was able to answer with real aplomb at lightening speed.
Who would be better for America is the question.
MY VOTE goes to Trump!
OAN is the almost-a-network that is trying
to assume the conservative news mantle that
Fox is letting slip away.
Again I’ll state I do like Trump but has yet to get out of platitudes in debates or in front of reporters. I want substance. Cruz put out a tax plan yesterday. Unless I’ve missed it (and could have) I’ve yet to see a plan of this detail from camp Trump.
Precisely. Even if one supports Trump, objectively, Cruz won that one by a mile.
I disagree.
Thanks. I didn’t know how to post it.
Me too!
Exactly. We aren’t electing a debater-in-chief, but a commander-in-chief. Trump has taken the lead in all of this - blasting the media from day one, and leading in many ways. He showed the others how to speak out and let the chips fall where they may. I’m glad the others on the podium went postal - and I’m proud of those who did. We aren’t going to take it any more.” I saw a sense of unity last night in the party that was refreshing. Trump’s closing remark was great - and they all laughed - “so we can all get the he** out of here.” He said WE - that was unity.
Rubio and Cruz were a cut above last night.
Somewhere in a her damp and musty lair in Cackle Corners is the Ubershrew... newly injected with the fear of having to face one of those two. Inevitability, my a**.
