Registered Republican Voters Pick Trump as the Winner and Bush as the Loser of Wednesday Nightâs Debate
One America News Network, âOANâ, a credible source for 24/7 national and international news, announces its post-debate poll results taken immediately after Wednesday nightâs GOP Debate in Boulder, Colorado.
New York real estate mogul Donald Trump remains in first place with 32.7 percent.
Dr. Ben Carson trails Trump by just over 10 points, landing in second with 22.6 percent.
Rounding out the top three is Senator Marco Rubio at 14.5 percent.
As for the winners and losers in Wednesday nightâs debate, over 1,500 registered Republicans were asked, âWho do you think won the debate?â
Republicans across the United States pick Donald Trump as the winner with 26.7 percent of the vote followed by Senator Marco Rubio, taking second place, at 21.1 percent. Senator Ted Cruz finishes in third place with 17.3 percent of the vote.
When asked, âWho to you think lost the debate?â polled voters put former Governor Jeb Bush on top with 26.2 percent of the vote, closely followed by Senator Rand Paul at 24.2%. John Kasich received 15.0 percent of the responses.

GO TRUMP!!
Nothing against Trump but I fail to see how anyone could have thought anyone but Cruz or maybe Rubio won that debate. Cruz for completely eviscerating CNBC (and the media in general) and Rubio for completely eviscerating Jeb!
That one moment was good for Cruz. Overall, Trump one in the hearts of Republicans.
Go Trump!
Rubio going after Jeb should be tantamount to child molestation.
PING
Since when did OAN become the premier polling company?
Go Trump!
I also give credit to a real word wizard being Huckabee. He isn’t my choice at all, but a person would be a liar if they said Huck isn’t a master at debate and speaking.
He has always been at the top in speech ability. He handled the worst question last night with pure verbal finesse.
Trump, Cruz and Rubio will most likely be the last candidates left when the primaries actually start.
Bush will continue to hold on until he runs out of other people’s money.
[Go Trump!]
and TED CRUZ!
Since when did OAN become the premier polling company?
So OAN is good enough to replace Fox because they’re conservative, but they’re no good in polling because you don’t like the results? :)
I don’t think it was an “official” poll. Just after debate sampling, but is consistent with chatter the day after.
I want Cruz in a bad way and Trump as my second however the ones voting did not base their vote off the debate. They blindly voted based on who they have decided they would vote for. Had they gone off the debate itself Trump and Carson were pretty much non existent. I’m starting to pull slightly away from Trump. While I do believe he can put the right people in place to lead to a recovery I have yet to hear anything other than platitudes. Broadcast a thorough plan to recovery or talk about it.
Don’t like the poll results, eh?
Anyway, you can trust OAN because they say right there
in the article “a credible source for 24/7 national and international news.” Sort of like Bill Clinton after
losing Congress running around the WH saying, “I matter.”
Trump, and Carson aren’t debaters. Cruz, Rubio, Christie and even Huckabee are very good at debates.
PING
Why ask that from Trump when nobody else has given us a full plan for recovery? We have heard more out of Trump about it than anyone else.
It’s my theory that the people voting for Trump may not have watched the debate. Trump was not outstanding in a way that would have increased his support.
I think his base, which is considerable, simply voted for him because he’s their candidate.
Anyone who actually watched the debate would have voted for Cruz.
Yes he is a master at debates. I really like Huckabee and I like how he didn’t go after Trump last night when he had a chance to do so.
I think Jebs support is migrating to Rubio.
