In an exclusive interview with The Brody File, Ted Cruz says he has a plan to begin highlighting, policy differences between him and Donald Trump. There are plenty of policy differences and there may well come a time when we start highlighting those more, Cruz tells The Brody File. In a political campaign there are seasons and phases to it as the race narrows down, as people start making choices, we may see some more policy contrasts.
Cruz has been climbing in the polls and has the money to make a serious run at the nomination. Hes been courting evangelical voters since his announcement speech at Liberty University. The truth is this: Cruz needs Trump to fade to have a realistic shot. The Brody File contends that Trumps biggest threat is not Jeb or Rubio. Its Cruz. Hes going after many of the same voters as Trump and he has the credentials, intellect, debating skills and passion to really make a dent in Trumps voter pool.
One other quote from Cruz during our interview:
I think the sharpest difference between my record and that of every other candidate is that people are tired of campaign conservatives. Theyre tired of people who talk a great game while theyre on the campaign trail but they actually havent walked the walk and I think people are looking for a consistent conservative.

Well you act proud of Jewish rituals. Very funny how you concentrate on periphery and virtually nothing of the Savior personally. As if all the Savior came to do was to advise you on ritual.
Trump’s not perfect. I fully agree.
But he can get stuff done and he has a long record of leading toward big things.
Cruz needs a few more years to get hair on his chest. He’s not equipped yet to be the leader.
8 years as VP under Trump would do him a lot of good.
.
You’re not getting it!
None of those voters will be “coalescing” behind Trump.
They mostly despise Trump.
This is why Cruz has wisely chosen to begin the differentiating process.
Most of the others will be dropping out as their funding dries up, and shinning the light on the differences is solid campaign policy at this point.
He’s less than 1% so wouldn’t do much.
Trump is the #1 second choice, not Cruz.
The numbers just don’t back up your gut feeling.
Trump is close to 50% in polls w/second choice. He’s gaining support every day.

>> “Well you act proud of Jewish rituals” <<
Gobledygook!
Did you mean YHVH’s appointed times?
The ones he said were necessary to know when and where to watch?
You dismiss Matthew ch 7 to your own diminishment.
You follow the “Greek Jesus” rather than the Hebrew Yeshua.
The former never existed, and the latter is our savior.
.
"Always intended." LOL
Buzz me when All-Talk Ted actually manages to get something accomplished.
Trump is nobody’s second choice.
Your post is one big straw man. You’re making claims for most Trump supporters, and Proust in particular, that he never made.
Not what the polling says.
He ousted Boner last week.
You really major in missing the point about JESUS don’t you. There is no scriptural attestation to any different name. You are an obvious pridemonger. All the festivals point to qualities and actions of JESUS. But you can’t see that, you adhere to a Jewish “Yeshua” who is infatuated with rituals.
There was an excellent reason for Him to go to the Hellenistic Jews and then outright to Gentiles (who were also called Greeks). And then to have the New Testament published in Greek. It was to shame the pride of Jewish religion mongers, who preached their rituals as the means of salvation and never could fathom that the rituals were telling the story of the Savior.
Right. A Senator ousted the Speaker of a house he isn't even a member of. Ted Cruz is also eight feet tall and cr**s lightning.
I agree, and Trump will insert a third foot in his general rhetorical mouth and probably self-destruct. He is joke to both me and my wife. Hellery would make mince-meat of "The Donald" in a real debate. He just doesn't have the political chops to go up against a spinning, parsing, lying, conniving, experienced politician like Hellery.
Ted Cruz is our best hope. Imagine him debating Hellery. Talk about the smartest person in the room. With his history and knowledge and commonsense of the Constitution, Cruz would put Hellery in her place, which has been long needed.
I'm encourage that he is gaining ground. While I respect Dr. Carson, he is too mild-mannered to compete with Hellery.

You know he saved your sovereignty, right? If it weren’t for Ted Cruz-— and Ted Cruz alone-— the United States Constitution, and your rights thereunder, would be subservient to the World Court. Is that a big enough accomplishment for you?
Think about it...and if you want to thank him by continuing to trash him, so as to make your guy bigger— knock yourself out.
LOL Cruz has failed to resonate with voters. That is the main reason he can not get out of single digits.
Of course his proposal to expand cheap foreign workers on H1-B visa’s FIVE times has not helped. And he signed on Obamtrade!
What is poor Ted going to do...he must obey his cheap labor express sugar daddy rich donors. Too bad Cruz is not independently rich, so he could stop being a shadow conservative.
...Like any of that would really matter in a debate with Hillary. Nobody that she appeals to even cares about the Constitution, or has heard of this "history" thing.
Maybe Cruz and Hillary deserve each other. They each despise rival royalty.
Trump knows he’s gathering large numbers of the American people on his team, which is where his flexibility, which so bothers people looking for a wooden consistency, proves an asset. Trump could justly boast that he is putting a deal together that Hillary both isn’t and can’t. She is not minded to do that. She wants not to work a deal with America (shades of the 80s Contract With America?) but to stuff rotten eggs down their throat and tell them they should call it caviar.
