In the days after the fatal shooting of nine black churchgoers in Charleston, S.C., in June, Senator Lindsey Graham, the Republican presidential candidate from the state, joined the calls to remove the Confederate battle flag from the State House grounds. Weeks later, it was gone.
And on Thursday, as Mr. Graham was discussing the issue with reporters from The Boston Globe and its spinoff website, Boston.com, he put Massachusettss state flag on the hot seat.
You got an Indian with a whats that all about? Mr. Graham asked, according to Boston.com. What is that is the guy holding a severed arm?
It is actually a free-floating arm holding a sword, floating above a blue shield emblazoned with an Indian.
I never understood what that was all about, Mr. Graham said.
Massachusettss flag has long raised concerns among Native Americans and some others there. It drew renewed scrutiny amid the Confederate flag debate, including in a Boston Globe column that called it blindingly archaic, but efforts to change it have not gained traction.
Minnesotas state flag, which depicts an Indian with a spear riding a horse past a farmer, was also criticized in the news media this summer.
In June, Gov. Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, a Republican, said, I would say if there is an interest among the players, and there are many, to have a conversation on the flag, I would certainly be happy to participate in that.

I think Lindsey just needs a little nookie then maybe he’ll settle down,
This then is the real thing....... it was made by Texans and is on the wall of the building where the fallen of goliad are remembered
Obviously the flag represents Jason Voorhees sneaking up on an Indian to cut his head off.
nothing has escaped me about Lindsay...I will guaran damn tee you I know a lot more about him than you do and that i’ve actively fought to remove him far more than you have.
But this was not a bad tweak. Maybe you’re not secure enough in manhood or principles to admit it.
WTF does that have to do with anything? Please try and justify it. (warning: I know what you'll say, and I'm prepared to nuke you on it).
That's why we should go back to the original 'Don't Tread On Me" flag... I invented on a time travel trip to go tavern crawling with George and Ben--

Please be advised that when "C. Eddie B. Wrong" posts anything here on FR his postings typically embody all the living proof that anyone needs to conclude that some of these more self-exalted-yet-bereft-of-talent-or-research-skills FReepers who post on this board with one finger on the keyboard and the other finger up their nose really are that uninformed.

Meet the guy who has supposedly done so much more than anyone else to oppose Lindsay Graham from his "strategic" commentary perch in NORTH Carolina.
FReegards!
C'mon spit it out...is Nikki Haley one of those offended Yankees you're mewling about or not?
You know, maybe you're not smart enough to know this, but there's this thing called the internet, cell phones, interstate highways and hell....jet planes. I've worked on campaigns all over the place from my strategic perch in NC. Your comment indicates a severe lack of comprehension ability as well as a mid double digit IQ mindset. I absolutely worked for LG's biggest competitor in the last cycle....went without being paid for much of it. Why? Because I do, and you just yak.
I also worked on two different Georgia based Super PACs from NC....worked on a Texas based PAC - and likely going to consult on races in Louisiana, Connecticut and yes, even NC for Senate races (and one House race) this go round. FROM MY PERCH in NC, yes. Your comment was beneath stupid and childish.
dude, it was the MASSACHUSETTS FLAG he was making fun of. The fact that it might have offended some southerners is beside the point, but no, you can’t process logic well enough to get it.
MASS FLAG
Lol..I was responding to YOUR lame comment not Graham’s and even included YOUR lame comment above my response.
Do you understand how posting here works?
I’m not sure I ever closely examined the MA flag before.
A lot of state flags are just the state seal, which is usually boring to me.
This though I like, the arm is cool, I wish that it was larger.
Maybe it would be less confusing for Graham if it was shoved up a gentleman’s posterior (aka Lindsey’s usual Friday night) rather than gripping a sword.
I would suggest he STFU but criticizing his moronic statements is highly amusing.
I agree. Carry to logical conclusion as long as these changes are being demanded. Maybe they will see how ridiculous they are being. I doubt it, but worth a try.
Why is this doofus still “running”? Isn’t there one family member or someone that can tell her to stop making an even BIGGER ass of herself?
He's now reduced to delivering little mousies.
Leni
That's what "he" sees when he looks in the mirror. You would run too!
His ex-bf C-3P0 said it best, "Delusions of Grandeur"
My God! That’s an epic takedown.
Copycats :)
VINCE AUT MORIRE
Hey, is that a boobie? Ban it! Ban it I say.
Love, John Ashcroft
