Tens of billions my @ss. First of all, a third of that 2,000 miles is a natural border with the Rio Grande River, complete with high cliffs and deep water. If an illegal manages to crosses it, he/she deserves a medal in addition to United States citizenship.

Another third is the hot godforsaken AZ desert.

So we are looking at 667 miles of actual border fencing. We put a man on the moon (Did we?) so we can build this with no problems.
