Senators are calling on President Obama to clarify his strategy on Syria, after Russia ignored repeated U.S. warnings and began bombing rebel groups there this week to shore up the Assad regime.

What on earth makes you think “precision ordnance” is some holy, approved weapon? How about rifle bullets, mortar rounds, artillery rounds, etc, etc.? Are they on your unapproved list as well?
A barrel bomb is nothing at all like a “car bomb dropped from the sky” that is an absurd and ignorant statement. It is right out of the MSM talking points.
It is an unguided high explosive device that uses shock and shrapnel to achieve the desired effect, EXACTLY like the iron bombs that every military in the world uses.

Assad is also a Muslim. He is trying to uphold his very unstable system, where 12% of the population of Syria - his Alawite religious group - rules over the rest. He has f*cked up in every possible way and now doesn’t seem to care about anyone but himself.

You’re the one drawing moral equivalence between barrel bombs and guided missiles. I’m not. Suggesting they are as accurate as iron bombs dropped from aircraft is ridiculous.
Barrel bombs are hand made jobs released from ropes below helicopters. Car bombs would be more accurate than such a jerry rigged system. But feel free to continue your self justification for Assad’s mass murder.
