The man who opened fire at Oregon’s Umpqua Community College Thursday, killing 10 and injuring several others, has been identified as Chris Harper Mercer.
The gunman was identified late Thursday by CBS News. Mercer was 26, according to CBS, which cited law enforcement sources. The Douglas County Sheriff earlier identified the gunman was a 20-year-old man but did not identify him.
The gunman died during a shootout with police.

Just did some online sleuthing.
Looks like he came up to the Winchester area to live near his 64 year old mom Laurel who is licensed in Oregon as an LPN. This would have been around 2012.
Mom has previous addresses in the LA area and Oakland.
Wonder if pa Mercer is from there. No idea if they were ever married or still together.
Have a gut feeling he was still living with mommy.
He just looks like a very mixed up kid to me.
