Now it has turned to light snow. All the lawns are white, but it’s still too warm to stick for very long.

Wednesday morning coffee bump.
Our cool mornings and warm afternoons continue as we near October.
I'm working today and tomorrow and then heading to Seattle Friday to see my daughter. She had just returned from a 10-day European vacation to find out she's been laid off from her job. Bummer.
OK, it's coffee refill time and on to work.

Oh no! I hope daughter-girl finds another job quickly. That is so unfair of them to lay her off while she was away. Hope she enjoyed her trip.
Guess what???? My replacement decided not to accept the job. She gave a lot of reasons, but I think they didn’t offer her enough money OR the work was more than she had expected. I think it’s the money. She was fine last week, got the offer on Friday and turned it down and told the boss on Monday that she wasn’t taking the position. Back to square one or maybe 1/2 square - may give the job to the secretary since we are running out of time.
Oh, and we’re expecting rain for the outdoor wedding reception Saturday.
Got a lot done today, so we should be good to go ramping up the new fiscal year; better than Congress anyway :)
