What trump seems not to understand is that reimbursement rates for Medicaid are already ridiculously low already.
I had a friend who was a dentist who dedicated most Saturdays to providing routine dental care to Medicaid patients. The govt paid him $6 per patient for a routine exam and cleaning. Not much room for more negotiation.

They weren’t just agreeing, they were throwing their arms up in the air calling it a much better tax plan, pro growth, and and more.
This sounds like the same kind of crap obozo was pitching in his campaign. It appears Mr. Trump is going to ease himself out of the campaign by shooting himself in the foot, one toe at a time.
Trump’s immigration plan nailed it. Tax plan nailed it.
A federal spending cut plan would be a smart move for him in the next go round. That’s more managerial though and might open him up to attacks (Grandma over cliff ads).

Those making 25k or less have no money left for corrupt government. Corrupt government spends tax dollars like drunken lotto winners. It’s government who need to pay and dramatically downsize across the board.

What he proposed will help there, but he needs to connect that for his supporters. The more that grasp that, the better.
I believe it is a can of worms, but he need to draw up specifics of the trade changes he would like to see.
He needs to address tariffs where he thinks they’ll help out, and explain why.
He needs to explain what 40 plus million people out of work costs us across the board. Those people are not earning, not spending locally, not paying taxes, just not being a part of the system we say we support.
That has to change.
Some pro FreeTrade folks are going to be unhappy. Hey, they got their twenty years. It f’d up our nation. Now it’s time for the real grownups to take the reigns away from them.
Buchanan was exactly right when he said, Fair Trade, not Free Trade.
Ultimately there wasn’t Free Trade. When China manipulated the whole process in countless ways, the Free Traders remained completely silent.
China demanding our manufacturing process and patent information wasn’t Free-Trade. It was blackmail intended to steal our technology. It manipulating it’s currency to effectively add 40% to our imports, stopped us from exporting to it’s people. China demanding 51% ownership of all businesses, was another clever thing the Free Traitors never complained about.
There should be hell to pay for what they foisted off on our nation. I consider part of it to be full blown treason.

Obama uses it every twelve seconds. These two have to be the most narcissistic people on earth.
