Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday that she could not fully explain the discovery of a string of work emails sent on her personal account earlier in her tenure as secretary of state than she has said she first began using that address. But she said she hoped voters would look past what she called the “drip, drip, drip” of the furor over her emails.
“There was a transition period. You know, I wasn’t that focused on my email,” Mrs. Clinton said on “Meet the Press,” when asked about emails sent from her personal account in her first two months after taking office in January 2009. Mrs. Clinton had previously said she did not begin using a clintonemail.com address for State Department business until that March.

She said the clintonemail.com server had existed in the basement of her family’s home in Chappaqua, N.Y., for years when she added her account. “It apparently took a little time to do that. And so there was about a month where I didn’t have everything already on the server and we went back, tried to, you know, recover whatever we could recover,” she said. “And I think it’s also fair to say that, you know, there are some things about this that I just can’t control.”

I’ve thought for some time that the Rats really don’t want to win the White House in 2016. They don’t want to be blamed for or deal with the mess that is only going to get worse.
That server was in her control far too long after she knew it was a political and legal liability.
I believe she had everything copied off of it. Then it was completely wiped and the software re-installed. Then she had the emails copied back onto it, but omitting the most damaging and illegal ones. Then have that "erased" but not wiped.
Now it sits there, ready to be "recovered" by the experts and the lack of truly bad stuff on it silences her critics. I think the Russians used to call this "wolf meat" or "wolf bait" - something left that looks/smells bad, but was left intentionally to be found and lead the finder in the direction you want.
Consider, they have the server and are "discovering" some emails on it. So are all efforts focused on this now? Is anyone still looking for a real, *complete* backup of the original server? Or are they sure they have it?

It’s crazy that during the 2008 campaign, she said that she had passed the commander in chief test, and McCain had passed his commander in chief test, but that Obama had not passed the commander in chief test.
I fail to see any accomplishments or any other indicators from Hillary that she is so rough and tough and would be any sort of effective leader in a crisis situation.
