Ted Cruz and Teenage Patriots

As a teenager, Ted Cruz memorized the Constitution and marveled audiences with his love for America and his prowess for speaking and debate. Today, as a presidential candidate for the Republican Party, Cruz works to motivate more teenagers to become engaged in America’s future much like Cruz was at a young age.

Cruz’s campaign launched Teens for Ted in early September. Fifteen-year-old Adam Hoffman is the National Co-Chairman of Teens for Ted, and he and his team are working hard to spread Cruz’s message.

Adam says that Teens for Ted aims to build a strong coalition of young grassroots volunteers who share a true desire to fight for America. Ted Cruz is setting the example as he fearlessly opposes the corruption in Washington.

A sharp advocate for Cruz, Adam is a patriotic dynamo.

Adam brings valuable experience to the team. He served in the successful campaign of Texas Governor Greg Abbott and has worked as an intern on Sen. Cruz’s presidential campaign. Adam is also Secretary of the High School Republicans of Texas and is the President of the Young Republicans Club at Robert M. Berem Academy.

“[Teens for Ted] is not just trying to reach kids who are already engaged, we’re doing an outreach to inform teens who aren’t involved,” Adam said.

Adam believes that all of us have a responsibility to America and to each other to participate and serve.

Adam noted that his grandparents are survivors of the Holocaust. They came to America seeking freedom and opportunity. The socialist ideology now infesting America is foreign to the values and ideals that Adam’s grandparents sought in coming here.

On the other hand, Ted Cruz stands for fundamental American principles that immigrants like Adam’s grandparents and Cruz’s own father pursued and embraced. Before escaping to America, Cruz’s father was imprisoned and tortured in Cuba.

After winning his election in Texas and going to Washington, Ted Cruz has delivered on his vow to defend the American principles of limited government, fiscal responsibility, and economic freedom. Teens for Ted is focused on sharing Sen. Cruz’s proven record of loyalty, integrity, and dependability with as many Americans as possible.

“Ted Cruz is genuinely a nice guy. He truly cares about [us],” says Adam.

While discussing some of the positive qualities of Cruz’s republican opponents, Adam says that ultimately all of them -- except Ted Cruz -- hold some liberal positions that will just continue to grow the size of government.

According to Teens for Ted, young people are fed up with an ever-increasing government that is jeopardizing their futures by hanging an $18 trillion debt around their necks and creating a pathetic job outlook after college.

Only Ted Cruz stood up for America’s children and grandchildren when establishment Republicans plotted to go along with the Democrats in raising the debt ceiling behind the backs of Republican voters. Cruz refused to go along with the political trick and exposed party bosses for the charlatans they are.

Teens for Ted asserts that Cruz’s courage is what young people and most Americans are searching for.

Having worked on three campaigns, Adam says, “I have seen that the best workers are the high school volunteers. You wouldn’t imagine how energized the high school republican clubs are...It is the young people who are going to take back this country.”

Teens for Ted aims to inspire parents, teachers, family members, and friends of patriotic, motivated, and responsible teens to get involved with Ted Cruz’s campaign. The team has set the lofty goal of establishing 150 clubs across the country by the end of the year.

The ideal teammates will have a genuine passion for America’s future. Adam states that teens who sincerely want to commit to sharing Cruz’s conservative and battle-tested record can reach the group at TeensforTed@gmail.com.

Ted Cruz is clearly fighting back against the liberal indoctrination kids face every day in the media, from Hollywood, and under the guise of education. The left’s subversive influences aim to make young people ashamed of their own country.

Ted Cruz, on the other hand, respects America’s history. He understands that America is a haven for freedom. He knows that no other nation has offered so many millions of people who had nothing a place to come and the opportunity to achieve anything.

As a leader, Cruz is focused on instilling patriotism in America’s youth once again. Strategically his effort could make a positive contribution to Cruz’s campaign. But more importantly, reinforcing the foundation of American principles and a reverence for the Constitution could be the remedy this fractured nation needs to survive.

Ted is going to need 8 years to put this Republic back on the road to restoration, many of these kids will be ready to vote five years from now, and they will have developed the talent and confidence to bring a whole host of other young people with them to the voting booth.

I’ve been saying consistently Cruz is a strategist, his goals in his strategy is not just short term to gain the presidency, it is long term to ensure his efforts will continue to grow for many many years to come, defeating the progressive liberal democrat communists will be a long and tough fight, we must be prepare the young to be engaged.

I’m enjoying the fact that your attempt at grammar correction itself left out a word. Slow down before posting indeed! (No worries though, we all knew what you meant...)

I agree with this writer’s assessment of Cruz, but I am trying to figure out how he “marveled audiences”.

You have no problem with his TPA or Corker vote?

If he said that he likes the socialized healthcare of Scotland or Canada, then I might have had a problem with him.

If he said that he likes some parts of Planned Parenthood, then I might have had a problem.

If he did not care much for property rights of the poor and weak, then I might have an issue with him.

Don’t worry about dropping nouns. Heck, Tommy Roe did a whole song that way.

Corker is a RINO, I regret ever voting for him. For one thing he doesn’t even bother to represent my area. Alexander is the other RINO senator from TN

He voted no on TPA when it included immigration issues. Corker forced the President to submit the Iran deal to Congress instead of having it enacted by executive order.

So the better question might be: why do YOU have a problem with his votes?

Trump and Cruz

The difference between the girls we’d date (wink-wink) compared to the type we’d finally marry.

This program he has to support his campaign is a great bookend to some efforts to get teenagers into the election process...

Texas passed an amendment to the Election code that allows teens, 16 and older, who have a SS#, and an address in the county where they wish to work as clerks in polling locations, the ability to do something more with their volunteer hours to actually do something substantive in their communities...

Since 2009 when that change was implemented, I have worked to increase the number of kids participating in this program in the last 6 years, and now have 22 kids and 3 returning college kids wanting to continue their participation as adults...

No longer will I tolerate the incessant whining about “we don’t have clerks, much less the mandated support of Vietnamese, or Spanish interpreters because I have tapped into this reassure and the kids are coming to me now...

They are mostly ethnic and are all AP or Honor roll kids...None of them are looking to duck class either...

So combined with this Ted Cruz program, and Texas seeing the need to invigorate our election polling crews with these motivated kids...

Its a win/win situation for everyone...

I do not know of anyone else in the state of Texas putting this many folks into the crews working these polls than what we have going on in S.E. Texas...

As I tell folks I run into, I really don’t plan on doing this political stuff forever...So we need to develop our legacy if conservatism is to survive...
