Ben Carson once gently questioned Donald Trump's Christian faith, but on Friday Bobby Jindal went much further. The Louisiana governor explicitly and repeatedly ridiculed Trump's faith, effectively accusing him of faking his Christianity before an evangelical conference that had heard the GOP frontrunner speak only hours earlier. Jindal, who is lagging at 0.3 percent in the national polls for the Republican presidential nominee, came onto the stage at the Values Voter Summit in Washington holding a book. Jindal joked with the audience, saying that Trump -- who on Friday morning held up what he said was his childhood Bible before that same audience -- had left his Bible behind. The punchline: Jindal raised the book for the cameras. It was Trump's bestseller "The Art of the Deal." "[Trump] said that his favorite book was the Bible," Jindal said, later in the speech. "He couldn't name one verse." "Folks, he hasn't read the Bible. You know he hasn't read the Bible because his name's not in the Bible." Many in the audience of more than 1,000 evangelicals laughed and clapped. Jindal received even louder cheers when he described Trump as a "narcissist" who might appeal as an entertainer but would be dangerous as a leader. "We conservatives have a choice," Jindal said. "Are we going to turn to our conservative principles... or are we going to turn to a man who believes in nothing but himself."

“There is no way to know whats in a mans heart.”
from prologue of O Lost by Thomas Wolfe:
Naked and alone we came into exile. In her dark womb we did not know our mothers face: from the prison of her flesh have we come into the unspeakable and incommunicable prison of this earth.
Which of us has known his brother? Which of us has looked into his fathers heart? Which of us has not remained forever prison-pent? Which of us is not forever a stranger and alone?
Enough is enough
When you're at 0.3% in the polls what have you got to lose?
“So now its fair game to question someones faith? Just not obamas, eh? Then one becomes a bigot...and a right wing extremist birther!!”
Very good point.
“Lousy speaker but I always thought he was ideologically correct.”
You think that because you probably don’t live in Louisiana.
Jindal needs to smarten up. I thought he was a rising star, not an ankle biter for the GOPE.
“This nation is toast without a good solid Christian PRO-LIFE man at the helm. Bobby converted when he was in college to Roman Catholicism, he’s married [no EX-wives] and has ONE family. He’s cares for the unborn! he’s chivalrous, and has plans for this nation. He’s warning us on Trump, but few are listening.”
Again, again, again, I must repeat myself. If you had lived in Louisiana for the past 8 years, you would not say anything like what you just did. You wouldn’t dream of it.
“Shut up Apu and give Homer a lottery ticket and a six day old hot dog.”
Thank you hoosiermama for all of the inside info about The Donald and his family. More people need to hear about the innate goodness of this man and his family. You are getting the word out. Good for you.
Have you ever asked God for forgiveness? The question elicited some laughter from the audience, though the Republican candidate seemed to take the matter seriously.
Im not sure I have, Trump said. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I dont think so. I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I dont bring God into that picture. I dont.
He quickly added in garbled syntax, We I take, when we go, and church and when I drink my little wine which is about the only wine I drink and have my little cracker, I guess thats a form of asking for forgiveness, and I do that as often as possible because I feel cleansed, OK? But, you know, to me thats important, I do that, but in terms of officially, I could say, Absolutely! and everybody, I dont think in terms of that. I think in terms of, lets go on and lets make it right.
"Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?" asked Trump. "I work hard, I'm an honorable person."

Maples and Donald Trump met at a celebrity tennis tournament in Atlantic City in 1985, when Maples was 21,[4] and secretly met and romanced during Sunday services in 1987 at the Marble Collegiate Church in New York City,[4] while Trump was still married to Ivana Trump. The affair was discovered by Ivana in 1989, when she confronted Maples on a ski slope in Aspen, Colorado. The spat was well chronicled by the media and led to Ivana filing for divorce. Maples went on to star in the Broadway production of The Will Rogers Follies, in which she played "Ziegfeld's favorite," the girlfriend of showman Florenz Ziegfeld.[5] She married Donald two months after the birth of their child, Tiffany Trump, born October 13, 1993.[4] In 1996 and 1997 Maples hosted both the Miss U.S.A. and Miss Universe pageants.[6] She divorced Donald in 1999.

Maybe you need to call that station or email them and set them straight about Snarly and her donations to PP.
He is not the only candidate I’ve completely vetted. There are volumes written About the Trump family. (Probably as much as some of our past presidents)
It is easy to learn about him ; material is available
To be honest he was not my choice when the initial articles first appeared. As a hhistory buff it was like a magnet. But through the collection of articles my respect of not just the man but the family has exploded
The story of Trumpf family is the story of The American Dream on Steroids. His paternal grandmother, a young widow with three young children deserves a great deal of credit. A truly remarkable woman who if the American people knew would be on the $10 bill list
We were told that the Indian’s neck had not been broken, as was the case with the other two, and that he swung there and strangled for more than a half hour before a doctor pronounced him dead and had him lowered. They say the Indian had lost weight in jail and was too light for a proper job. I have since learned that Judge Isaac Parker watched all his hangings from an upper window in the Courthouse. I suppose he did this from a sense of
duty. There is no knowing what is in a man’s heart.

Yours is better though, thanks. I’d never read that.
They’re aware of it.
Her “impassioned speech” about the baby parts has blinded them to any other opinion of her.
For all I know, it was subconscious guilt gushing forth.
Is the MSM criticizing Jindal for lowering the tenor of political discourse?
He doesnt need to be perfect or even worth spit as a governor.... to call out Mr Donnie-I dont need to be forgiven....the Bible Waver-Trump.
If that lying little Hindu twerp is your hero, then enjoy him.
Lying little Hindu twerp?
isnt that special
it doesnt take a genius nor a HERO to call out the “agnostic” Bible waving would be candidate from New York City
hes sstatewd that he did not need to be forgiven
that sort of RULES HIM OUT as a CHRISTIAN
that being said AGAIN ....why then did he feel the need to use that Bible that he doesnt NEED as a FLAG..at a recent appearance??
MORE INSTANT EVOLUTION????
the man’s proved himself to be a HYPOCRITE of the first order
