Donald Trump earned a rare rebuke from a conservative audience on Friday after criticizing Sen. Marco Rubio, who as emerged as his prime sparring partner in recent days.
Speaking to a social conservative crowd at the Values Voters Summit, where Rubio spoke earlier in the day, Trump was met with a wave of boos after calling his Republican rival a clown in his speech.

Apparently not only mine.
but you would be at a Trump rally....THATS NOT WHAT THIS WAS. THATS NOT WHAT THIS WAS. THATS NOT WHAT THIS WAS.
Plenty of damned evidence, but only for those willing to look at the truth.
Oh boy. This is not good.
little little little girlie poo.......the reality is that the winner of South Carolina by 14 damned points last time was at ZERO at this time of the game. Your scoreboard pointing, the only damned thing you ever do, is getting old given that you have no clue how early in the game it is.
I’m a Trump supporter but the insults will only go so far. Trump needs to stick to policy...his own and those of his opponents. He is hurting himself. I can see him losing ground during the next polling cycle. Watch and see.
Are they booing Trump or Rubio?
Given that this is another anti-Trump hitpiece, I couldn’t disagree more.
Sometimes C. Edmund Wrong its good to live in reality. The winner is almost always the one leading in the polls. Trump is so far ahead of number two its not even funny. This is not even close Dude.
Marco Rubio is an overly ambitious 40 something who thinks he is ready to be President. Anybody naïve enough to get snookered by Chuckie Schumer is not ready to sit in the Oval Office.
Marco has give up his senate seat which means he is really running for Governor of Florida. I think that is a good idea for him. He is not going to be the GOP nominee.
“little little little girlie poo”
This tells me you have no valid argument and I am hoping just for my Friday night amusement to the name calling on me that recently got your post removed and a time out. :-)
no, the leader in the polls in September is almost never the winner. What friggin reality are you living in? You think SC primary is next week or something?
Well C. Edmond Wrong you just keep hopin. Hope and change. LOL!
Trump’s tone is always steely which is (much!) stronger than irony!
Lou Dobbs and a couple talking heads I’ve never heard of said the crowd boo’ed Trump and the the “air was leaking out of the Trump campaign slowly but surely.”
I watched the very brief cut of the speech Fox showed and I honestly couldn’t tell who the crowd was booiong. Need to hear from people who were there.
Marco would have benefited from 4 years in uniform. As a matter of fact, Donald would have as well...actually, they ALL would have.
Zero people supporting Rubio are conservative.
Next leftist journalism drivel please.
Well I can’t argue with that. But we do have a voluntary military at present so the draft was actually a poor idea. I think now if wasn’t for Obama and the Progressive/Commies being in charge the voluntary military is far superior.
At least Trump went to a Military Academy for 5 years and he got the training and the discipline. He didn’t do anything that thousands of other guys didn’t legally do to get deferements in the 60’s.
I don’t think the draft was a poor idea. I think having a military that fosters unwed motherhood and reduced standards is a poor idea. I think the idea of the Romney and Sununu boys serving in uniform is a great idea.
If you want to be overly generous you could say it’s mixed. I’m will to say there may have been a few groans, but most were booing Rubio.
