Donald Trump earned a rare rebuke from a conservative audience on Friday after criticizing Sen. Marco Rubio, who as emerged as his prime sparring partner in recent days.
Speaking to a social conservative crowd at the Values Voters Summit, where Rubio spoke earlier in the day, Trump was met with a wave of boos after calling his Republican rival a “clown” in his speech.

No, there isn’t plenty of evidence that they were booing Trump. Some say one thing - others something else. It’s hard to tell, and I suppose whoever your candidate is - you will side with them. Maybe you are the one misunderstanding? Could be.
Yep they were cheering for Trump, and when he said that about Rubio being a clown, they were booing Rubio...
I don’t take things that I read from lib reports...and I was watching it on OAN and heard every word Trump said, he even said to this one guy, “I like that guy!’ I thought it was great...
The only time they cheered when Rubio was talking is when he said boner quit this morning, then the cheers went up....

LOL, the MSM probably will only show the cheers and fail to mention the cheers were for the fact Rubio said Boehner was quitting. I would have done a standing O if Rubio had said he was quitting.

I agree with Trump—Rubio is a clown. Or, perhaps more accurately, a snake in the grass. I wouldn’t trust Rubio as far as I could throw Christie.
