Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) will be the next target of conservatives frustrated with party leadership, according to one of the conservative representatives who pressured House speaker John Boehner in the weeks leading up to his resignation. Next guy in the crosshairs will probably be McConnell, Representative Matt Salmon (R., Ariz.) said in a text message to Senator Mike Lee (R., Utah), ...
That fits a theory of Boehners struggles that is common among the outgoing speakers friends and foes alike that his unpopularity among the grassroots stems more from McConnells failure to take advantage of the Senate majority than anything House Republicans have done. If thats true, then Boehners departure can hardly be expected to ease the tensions between GOP leadership and the conservative base or preempt more leadership fights in the future.
People are frustrated with out Republican leadership, with Boehner and McConnell, and its not usually the third or fourth question that comes up its the first question that comes up, Representative Marlin Stutzman (R., Ind.), who voted against Boehner in January,

Hard to miss a turtle, imo.
Go after that bumbling old SOB - FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!!
Starting to think there might be something to this whole Blood Moons thing.
AFTER *WE* PICK A NEW SPEAKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How can it be a failure if it is INTENTIONAL?
Git’ er done. Completely clean GOPe and RINO house...
Dream on!!! The House does not run the Senate and vice-a-versa. McConnell has his cabal of lame RINO enablers who will never, ever, ever, unseat the turtle. They like the way things are run over in the democratically controlled, err, I mean Republican controlled Senate.
He’s so proud that the Senate is doing good work and passing lots of legislation again. A-hole.
Crosshairs?
McConnell has had power long enough to get something...anything!...done and he has accomplished absolutely nothing. He’s “leaned across the isle” so many times, he’s fallen into the Democratic camp. He’s a spineless wimp who can’t get things done. It’s time to dump his sorry butt for someone who can advance the conservative Republican agenda.
lil dickie burr NC, and McCain need to be primaried out!
If the GOP has any hopes of ever gaining some shred of credibility it needs to remove McConnell ASAP. As long as he remains in his position why should anyone vote GOP? What is there to gain? McConnell will continue serving the Democrats and scuttle any attempts to pass legislation that advances conservative interests. He must go!
McConnell is there to enrich himself and everyone else in the Senate. That is why they go along to get along. Last time I checked, McConnell is worth 32 million dollars and has never held a job in private sector. He is one of the leaders in the Washington Cabal.
Getting rid of Mitch is a must do. Although with Trump in the Whitehouse I think Mitchie would see things differently pretty fast. Nobody wants the Trump ghetto beatdown. :-)
Are there even 10 Republican Senators who are authentic conservatives? The Republican Senate caucus is so teeming with limp noodle, moderate/left-of-center types like Alexander, Corker, Cornyn, Collins, Grahamnesty, McCainiac, Cochran, et al. that I wouldn’t think anyone would be able to mount a serious challenge to McConnell. If they could challenge him, it would be likely the replacement would be to the left of McConnell. The place is a lost cause.
I’m ashamed Alexander and Corker are my senators. I apologize to all.
