Via RCP, the balls on this guy to even pay lip service to this subject in front of the Pope. Give me one example of the Obama administration going to the mat to expand religious freedom here or abroad. He fought Hobby Lobby and the Little Sisters of the Poor in court to make them provide contraception as part of their health-care plans notwithstanding their religious objections. He sits by and says nothing when small business owners are sued into oblivion by state AGs when they politely refuse to provide services to gay weddings on grounds that their faith doesnt allow it. (Actual quote from the clip youre about to watch: People everywhere must be able to live out their faith free from fear and free from intimidation.) He just made a deal with a theocratic Shiite regime thats persecuting Sunnis in Syria, clearing the way for them to become a nuclear power in 15 years. Hes running a halfhearted war of token airstrikes against ISIS, an even greater persecutor of religious minorities, despite domestic and international clamor for him to do more. Whats the big Obama legacy achievement on religious freedom that warrants him even mentioning this topic? Wheres the evidence that the overwhelmingly secular, statist national Democratic leadership views religious freedom as an important priority at all?

LOL!!!! Obama is such a lying sack o’ shit.
By which he means Muslim freedom to behead Christians.
St. John Paul II was no tool of Lucifer.
This one? Sure starting to look like he is a “Man of Peace,” as in one who preaches peace but brings ruin.
Yet he prosecutes Nun's for not having Obamacare's Abortion and Contraceptives Services? He talks about removing tax deductions from church for not marrying gays? He has a Gay rights priest and a transvestite greet the Pope and delays the Pope's plain for his convenience?
UH, Why do I not believe him? DOH!
There’s no doubt. They don’t even hide their idolatry. The whole system is a damning mixture of truth and abominable lies.
All Catholics need to read the materials and watch the videos at Berean Beacon. It is the online ministry of former priest, Richard Bennett. He was born in Ireland to a devoutly Catholic family and served as a priest for more than two decades before he became a Christian. A good place to start might be:
Who is Your Holy Father?

The difficult thing is to share what Christ wants to do and can do, without getting full of oneself in the process.
When coming from a Roman Catholic background, which says “Oh look what a wonderful system WE have” and then finding a personal saving Christ, the temptation in the new congregation is to continue the underlying folly and say once more “Oh look what a wonderful system WE have.”
It’s not until we’ve dropped the ball badly enough that we come around to saying “Oh look what a wonderful system the LORD has.” And being able to trace it where it appears in each segment of Christendom.
Pope John Paul II understood very well that authoritarian, statist regimes like the USSR, Cuba, China were incompatible and hostile to religion for a reason.
You can’t serve two masters. If you are worshiping anything besides the STATE, your allegiance is divided.
That has been put up here at FR earlier, and been exposed as a fake.
The “news” site itself says it is fake news that they make up.
If you watch the video, you will see the disclaimer.
Don't fall for it
The pope has actually said that Catholics and Islam worship the same god.
If they want to worship the same god as Islam fine with me, but Alllah has none of the characteristics of the Christian God.
So you are suggesting Richard Bennett has the wrong approach, that he shouldn’t sound the alarm, that he shouldn’t share the gospel of free grace with Catholics?
There. I fixed it.
Thanks for the notification.
Slow Joe wrote the script for his teleprompter.
I think he sounded pathetic when he was reading the teleprompter today. He was totally disconnected from the words. He didn’t mean anything.
I am advising about a very common problem. If the shoe fits it should be worn; if it does not fit then it shouldn’t. You are the one coming up with the strawman — not I.
In fact, he should share the gospel of an “insane” heavenly love with Catholics and everyone else who will listen. Even grace — if we stop there — is a weak thing. It doesn’t say anything about HOW and WHY the grace got there. Without filling that spiritual hole, all manner of other assumptions will come chattering in.
And you know he doesn’t do precisely that? I have listened to him preach and teach for many many hours and I appreciate his ministry. I’ve never met Richard, but I know men who know him (one knows him rather well) and they think the world of him. He is an humble man with a heart to reach the lost for Christ, particularly Catholics. If you don’t agree with his theology or like his approach, just ignore him.
He better wear his Lighting rod hat next time he visits a golf course
Where is the lightning from the sky to blow this guy out of his shoes !
After considering what you said a little more, it sounds as if you don’t think someone can be saved unless evangelism is done the way you would do it. Maybe that’s not what you mean or believe, but that’s how it comes across.
Please know that ALL those given by the Father to the Son will come to Christ and be saved (John 6:37). His people will be willing in the day of HIS power (Psalm 110:3). Never forget that salvation is a matter of grace, it’s an undeserved, unmerited gift. We Christians are to witness and spread the good news, but it’s never in our hands. We are given the honor or being involved, but make no mistake about it, from beginning to end, salvation is in His hands, just as it has always been. If the Lord doesn’t give a man ears to hear, it won’t matter how biblically correct our message or how impressive our technique. “Salvation is of the Lord (Jonah 2:9).”
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
