Forty-nine percent of people asked in a new Gallup survey say the federal government poses "an immediate threat to the rights and freedoms of ordinary citizens," and another 19 percent say the federal government is too big in general and puts forth too many laws.
Though this sentiment has been felt by generally the same percentage of Americans for the past five years, fewer than a third of those asked (30 percent) believed it when they were first asked in 2003.
Another 15 percent of those asked worry the federal government violates too many freedoms and civil liberties, while 13 percent see the government as a threat to the Second Amendment.

51% are Obama voters and are happy with their Kenyan/Muslim overlords.
The other 51% are either government employees, or are part of the free shit welfare army.
Well, I guess it’s time to lock-and-load, America.
51% of this country appears barely aware that the sun comes up in the east and that grass is green.
Two immigration invasions engineered by NWO U.N. agent 0dunga and America is happy about it. Ask the Europeans what they think of Caliphate Barry.
I’ve heard that 30% are ready to take up arms.
POLLS are bull sperm believed by FOOLS..
If a poll effects your vote you are a cretin..
Good people hang up or are not called by pollsters..
BAD people loved to be polled..
BAD people want to take POLLS.. because they have ZERO principles..
Gives them a base.. they do not have..
I believe the U.S. government is a threat to the lives of 330 million Americans, as long as the NON-CITIZEN MUSLIM impostor is in the White House. He will kill us with an EMP if he is ever able to assemble the means to do so. He will try to kill us by any means possible.
btt
I am good with that number.
40% of the other will just wet their drawers
The other 30% will never get out of the city.
It has passed the point of posing a threat.
It has passed the point of being a threat.
The federal government more often than not has becone the enemy of the people.
It no longer represents the will 0f the people.
It has taken on a life and identity of its own,
It now represents and stands for the will of the federal government itself.
You, sir, are out of line.
Feeling a bit judgmental today, eh?
I do not vote based upon polls - and I know of no individual in my circle of political acquaintances that do so.
If a pollster calls my home, I’ll listen politely to whatever their spiel is (unless, in my estimation it is some devious pretext) ... I will then decide whether to participate. Even so, my continued participation is affected only for as long as I perceive the questions to be neutral and not having a particular bias. Push polls get an immediate dial tone.
In any case, who are you to determine the caliber of “principles” another individual may or may not hold? So now you read both minds and hearts, and know the intentions of others whom you have never met, eh?
Hosepipe, you often express the opinion that Donald Trump is “arrogant” ... Maybe so, but I say to you: Take a look at the reflection in your own glass house, and cease in casting stones! If you truly believe the drivel that you just wrote, then I think you need to do some serious soul searching.
I am prepared.
“BAD people want to take POLLS.. because they have ZERO principles..”
I took a poll when I was on active duty during the Reagan years.
The last question was something like “what do you see as America’s biggest problem?”
I answered, “Unwillingness to use military force in our own national interests.”
I had to repeat it a dozen times before the leftard pollster finally got it right.
I didn’t think I was a bad person for taking the poll.
“Ive heard that 30% are ready to take up arms.”
May I ask where you heard that?
Not disputing your number; just asking.
And yet so many at this forum oppose taking control of DC through the Article V State amendments convention process.
If restoration of liberty is the goal, there is no other option.
Article V ping!
If this poll is remotely accurate, what the heck downside can there be to an Article V state amendments convention?
I didnt think I was a bad person for taking the poll.
What if your answers were ignored.. and your vote was added to some other category?..
as is often done.. then just participating in the ruse was an ERROR.. making you complicit..
