CNN's ' Live' feed of the debate

your mind will explode when you see a Trump/Cruz ticket. What will YOU do then? What will YOU do?
That is inexcusable. Looking at her other tweets, you can see the venom dripping from here anytime a candidate mentioned Israel.
Now that the debate is over, I’ll post my two cents worth.
First, it’s easy to see that Jeb Bush was the big loser: stupid faces, mild manner, said nothing to change people’s pre-existing perceptions of him, something he BADLY needed to keep the backing of his money people.
Kasich didn’t say anything that was particularly intelligent or important. Pretty much just stuck to his canned talking points. Didn’t make a case why he should even be on the stage any longer. I also though Walker gave a weak performance, and made no compelling case why he should be on stage any longer.
I’ll have to say that I don’t take Ben Carson or Carly Fioria seriously, so really am not going to comment about them one way or the other.
I think that Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Cristie, Huckabee all said very intelligent things. Cruz was outstanding and Huckabee refused to take the CNN bait to attack anyone else on stage.
That said, Rubio as we all know is the epitome of a back-stabbing, pseudo-conservative, though the casual observer might not know that.
Trump, of course, was Trump.
just my two cents worth ...
Good answer. POTUS has better things to do.
Someone earlier described listening to him like listening to a 6 year old child. Open, honest, naïve, well-intentioned, and clueless.
this was not a fabulous debate. there was more argument than on fox, but so heavy on stupid moderator questions. We don’t want to see these people argue about jr high school stuff. We want to see differentiation. There was none more evident than on the Iran Treaty where several let on that they would see how Iran acted after the fact, ignoring the financing of terrorism right off the bat. Jeb to me just seemed to be dumb, Kascich seemed to be asking who he could ask permission to defund PP, when every other governor already had. He never answered questions and waved in only to go down a rabbit hole. How is he still there? Hackabee said good things, but seems a loose cannon. Rubio sweated in relation to his Gang of 8 past. Carly lost huge points for being so strident and unlikable. Christie just makes up shit out of the air to deflect attention, including the fictitious day before 9/11 story. “I know you asked me a question, but what about....?” Cruz did well despite the obvious bias against by Tapper. Carson came off as sort of over his head. Trump did nothing to lose momentum. I guess it was okay. Overall I think Jeb Bush lost the most. What a goober. Carson lost points. Trump didn’t gain any. I would think Carly lost points, but maybe just to me. Christie is a mushy pleaser. Kascich seems dangerously out of touch. With reality. Anyone that answered that we should watch Iran after the agreement needs to drop out now. I expected Hugh Hewitt to be an asshole but Trump totally neutralized him. He can charm anyone, clearly. I felt like Trump was sizing up VP candidates the whole time. That was his expression. Long and not so interesting. Finally, who to put on a $10 bill? really?
You learned nothing from Dole, Bush, Bush, McCain, and Romney.
How did your Conservative candidate do those years?
Too many of our primaries are open. You can’t expect the solid Conservative voters to outvote the Democrats and moderate Republicans.
Go ahead and be upset with me, call me a Leftist if it makes you feel better.
When you want to get serious about putting someone in the White House with more than a voting majority of 1%, who will not do more Leftist things that Bush, give your old tactics a good hard look.
They aren’t working. The GOPe and Democrats have joined together to make sure we can’t elect guys like Cruz.
Cruz has his problems too, sadly.
So what is the proper response to a terrorist attack in New York that kills 3,000 and injures many, many more? Is it an intellectual one? Or do we nuke Mecca and King Saud?
Oh
Dear
Lord
As a parent of children on the autism spectrum, I am personally insulted by Trump’s ignorance on this issue.
Carly has a deep wallet and Rove would like to get some of that cash.
Donald's new campaign theme song:
(Just kidding Jane!) :-)
My sentiments.
You mean, the year that swine flu was supposed to be a problem. It was a scam.
*********************************************************************
Yes, I remember that but never really knew the purpose of the scam. To sell more vaccine?
Well, yes they made me mad at not letting Cruz have the same amount of time.
However the format and the fact that they had an audience, and after the first Trump gotchas, it seemed that they let the candidates speak and if they went over just let them finish.
None of them are perfect.
I stayed on CNN. They ran a better debate; maybe they’ll run better commentary. To be honest, though, I’m at the computer and the TV is on in the background and I’m not really paying attention.
I thought maybe I’d check fox when Hannity is on. The others will make me gag.
Well...my point really is that when us oldsters kids got shots there were about 5....now there’s about 16
