“What the hell is the draw for backing another Black man for the White House after having had eight incredibly destructive years under the first one?”

Quick question, you are going with the belief that race has anything to do with being a bad president?

Interesting comment, my FRiend; and, I agree.

It's as though the "real ones" are playing the political equivalent of a "prevent defense", and live in mortal fear of being accused of being a conservative.

When Ted Cruz wins and is selected by the Primarys..

ALL who are for Trump will go with Ted Cruz...
EXCEPT many of the democrats that follows him(trump)..
and some RINOs..

There is actually NO DEMOCRATS following Cruz.. WHY?..
Because they know where Cruz is coming from.. AND

He will destroy their precious federal givernment and most of the rogue agency’s they love so much... AND restore the US Constitution to FULL POWER...

HOW WILL HE DO IT?... by gutting the Executive Branch from crony capitalists to K-Street to and mast ALL Executive Orders.. reducing regulations down to a minimum.. pass new Tort Reform.. gutting the lawyers sweet spot.. replace Health Care with a System that actually works.. better than before..

AND THEN: Make the Justice Department an agency with teeth and a Chain Saw.. Chipper and Investigate CONGRESS.. and maybe even the Supremes..

AS A BEGINNING... this will send a CHILL in the federal givernment from Washington D.C. to Barrow Alaska.. that the corrupt politicians will feel in their shorts..

AND then: after Congress is trying to look conservative he will ask for legislation to absolve the federal workers union.. which could cause a massive cleanup of incompetent federal workers..

All THAT IN THE FiRST month or two(So).. TRUMP WILL NOT DO THAT.. because he doesnt know how.. and because he doesnt want to..

If I were a better, I would take your wager. (I'm not, so I won't.)

Mister Trump has less than a 5% chance of the GOP nom, and will go third party (which has been his plan all along.).

And, Trump will take enough votes from the GOP nom (whomever that might be) to ensure a Dem win.

Just like Perot.

Trump will get no (zero) electoral votes.

Just like Perot.

I do not understand why my fellow Freepers don't see this. It is history repeating itself.

I don't know. The lights would have to come back on in some heads and hopey changey talk fade a little so people can think clearly again. What will it take to make that happen?

Ben Carson has less of a chance of surviving to be President than a bag of cocaine in Bill Clintoon’s vest pocket..

Good point but 4runner made a good observation too, one I’ve been thinking for a long time will be a big problem for Carson.

After the mess we’re looking at now, I don’t think the people in general will accept another black president for a while. Obama fooled them, and instead of the great racial healer he was supposed to be he turned out to be the most divisive president in history, constantly playing the race card, bringing race into everything possible...I don’t think the people will trust another black president for a while.

Carson is good, I like the guy a lot, but he’s not the president we need right now.

Mister Trump has less than a 5% chance of the GOP nom,

Who among the current crop of losers and whiners has a better shot than trump. There are less than 20 candidates and you are giving odds against Trump winning at 1 in 20. LOL!

Who's your money on?

Put Trump and Cruz on the same ticket and you will fill a stadium every time they appear anywhere.

Both Trump and Cruz excite their audiences. Ben Carson lols them to sleep and the remainder of the candidates couldn’t fill a high school gym.

I disagree. Trump gets blown away in the General. Just the 20%, maybe, of the Latino vote will ensure that. Way too early for polls to mean too much but the one last week even had Hildabeast at 51% and Trump at 40%

But on the GOP side? I swear I never count out the GOPs as they always find a way to screw us but I really can’t think of anyone that can beat Trump. We will have a better handle on it once more drop out.

But, quite frankly, I think this election is about more than the WH. It is the last gasp to fundamentally change the GOP and for that we have a good shot.

Trump has dealt with much smarter, more cunning, and much more ruthless business people from all over the world. He will surprise you how well he will handle the attackers.
