President Trump today announced that the first season of "The Apprentice: White House Edition" will air on CBS this fall. Contestants, including Gary Busey, Ted Cruz and Kanye West, will vie for Cabinet positions. The announcement came as the newly renamed "Hair Force One" touched down in South Dakota for the unveiling of President Trump's face on Mount Rushmore. Meanwhile, first lady Melania had reason to celebrate as her White House-branded perfume, Trump, by Trump, hit Macy's shelves ...
No, this is not a story from The Onion. It's a vision of our future. The only people who would enjoy a Trump presidency are Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert. The jokes write themselves...
The problem with Donald Trump is that he will never be president. His nomination as the Republican candidate would gift the White House to Hillary Clinton. He would self-destruct in a general election. In fact, he may be Clinton's only hope. And even if he were somehow to win, we have no idea how he would govern.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of a Donald Trump. I love the idea of an outsider who doesn't care about political correctness and who says things you're not supposed to. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is the wrong messenger. .....
His problem with Washington isn't big government, it's that he's not running it. He's not liberal, moderate or conservative. He's not Republican or Democrat. Donald Trump is for Donald Trump. He believes only in himself.
Like all narcissists, Trump is insecure, weak and afraid of being exposed. That's why he's constantly telling us how big and rich and great he is, and how insignificant everyone else is.
Like a kid in a superhero costume, (snip)

To scream that someone is a madman is to place yourself into that circle of potential madmen (i.e. how do you know madmen unless you are one of them). If you use inflammatory language, you go into the fire.
Just goes to show that either Jindal is an original idiot or he let the GOPe tell him what to say.
Either way, he has disqualified himself.
BTW, I think he let the GOPe tell him what to say.
“Jindal is not only a liar, he is a damned liar.”
Don’t care about Jindal. I suspect he spoke to a psychologist about Trump’s behavior as what he wrote is true according to my evaluation of Trump’s behavior:
Like all narcissists, Trump is insecure, weak and afraid of being exposed. Thats why hes constantly telling us how big and rich and great he is, and how insignificant everyone else is.
“I disagree. Trump is for America. He loves it.”
Trump is for Trump. He loves himself.
I thought this was satire.
Jindal has lost his mind. He needs to drop out, immediately.
NO candidate should be able to speak/write an Op-Ed of another, like this.
The definition of narcissism is running for President when youre polling at 1%. Goodbye, Bobby.
Spot on. He’s obviously being payed off by the RNC/¡Jeb!/RINO PACs.
He needs to be the next one to drop out.
“Professional psycobabbler, I’m impressed. (not)”
You joined FR on 8-8-2015, last month, evidently as a Trump promoter. You have no idea of my background.
“Trump is insecure, weak and afraid of being exposed”
Insecure about what? Weak how? Afraid of being exposed for what? You should have been able to smoke out some evidence for what you say, or else it is useless nonsense.
I read posts at freeper for many years before I joined. Due to declining health I now have the time to join the debate. I do like Trump and Cruz, as for the others, not so much.
Meanwhile, Ted Cruz is clinging to Trump like a limpet to an oil tanker
Classy, not.
Guess Jindal doesn’t want Cruz’s voters. Shame.
“Bobby Jindal has jumped the shark with his over the top rhetoric. If anyone sounds like a madman in this hit piece, its Jindal.”
Exactly right. I wonder if Jindal was one of the ones recruited by the Establishment to try to take Trump out after Labor Day. The timing is very suspicious. In any event, it won’t help Jindal any more than it helped Perry.
Sounds on target to me. Some of what Jindal said is in line with Thomas Sowell's latest article, I believe.
As much as people might want to screech about Jindal's remarks, the bottom line is this: Trump doesn't have an exclusive and special right to criticize.
When I started posting on FR, I didn't mind showing a bit of respect to Freepers, especially longtime ones. I knew it was the way things were done around here. I think it still is, so I encourage you to do so.
Marcella's background in mental health---and in Texas politics---makes her worth listening to and learning from.
Trump can instantly craft the tiniest zinger, turn the smallest pebble into a emotional bunker-buster. He told Rand "you're having a bad night". On Perry it was "he wears glasses to seem smart". Bush of course was "low energy" and the next day Bush responds by literally jumping in the air to show his virility and enthusiasm. All he did with Bobby Jindal was to refer to him as a "lightweight".
Trump simply flicks his finger and they all simply fall apart in front of our eyes revealing their true measure.
Yes, think Jindal. Wow, I haven’t seen this from anyone but Rick Perry. Oh, wait? Rick is out of the race and Jindal is at 1%.
I evaluated human behavior for 30 years as a mental health professional

What a coincidence— I was under evaluation in a mental facility for 30 years!
The only reason I asked if you were a Cruzador is that we usually try to mollify the Trump guys for the time being—— make the ultimate transition easier for them, you know?
-:)
I thought the same- I double-checked before I posted. I don’t recall ever seeing a candidate’s op-ed of this nature. I guess CNN wants the publicity going into the debate.
I wouldn’t even have posted it, except that I wanted to reply to his attack on Ted Cruz.
LOL!
:D
