On Tuesday, talk radio host Glenn Beck accused the Tea Party supporters of GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump of being racists.
While he questioned whether Trumps supporters are genuine Tea Partiers, Beck said of them, If you were a Tea Party person, then you were lying. You were lying. It was about Barack Obama being black. It was about him being a Democrat. Although he later identified fellow talk show host Sean Hannity as a Tea Party supporter who thinks Trump is a great guy, Beck said that he simply disagrees with Hannity about Trump.
Becks comments came as part of a discussion of Trumps rally in Texas yesterday before a sold-out crowd of 20,000. Beck stated, The medias making this look like [Trumps supporters are] Tea Party people. I dont think these are Tea Party people who are following him. Some of them may be, but I think these I mean, you cant if you were a Tea Party person, then you were lying. You were lying. It was about Barack Obama being black. It was about him being a Democrat, because this guy is offering you many of the same things, as shallow as the same way. If you said to me that it bothered you about his past, you said to me, Hey, what about his relationship with Jeremiah Wright? What about what hes done here, here, and here? Youre not bothered by this guy, and its exactly the same thing.

Milt claimed that he was pro-life. I agree with you that he was bad on the life issue in reality. I don’t apologize for voting for the socialist patrician, however. I don’t believe that Milt hates America. His policies would have been somewhat less destructive than Maobama’s.
For a guy that doesn’t hate America he sure has no issue profiting from the killing of it’s kids.
“I dont apologize for voting for the socialist patrician, however.”
Then you really have no right to complain about socialism in America or the destruction it has caused do you.
Hey, I didn’t vote for him in the primary. What you did was stand for principle, but I think it was empty symbolism when all is said and done. I understand your position, though, that’s for sure, but I disagree with it.
In Pa, I refused to vote for Ridge, Hafer and Specter, but since Milt ostensibly changed his position to pro-life, he won my vote. Bob
Well, that’s a shame because your opinion was crucial to me.
I don’t mean to be hurtful and given I’m so incredibly busy these days I just drive by post Or late at night like now even though I’m up at 520 cst I may have forgotten I had rapport with you and I apologize if you are sincere
I never purposely hit unless it’s southern stuff and I am a big defender no question
We have folks here who live to denigrate my ancestry and country or southern folk in general
That is the only reason they are on free republic
I tell anyone I’ve been friendly with if I hit them one day to remind me please
I think I did it once to an Oklahoma lady poster who left in the Mad Ivan Rush
So again my sincere apologies
If you are playing me and could give a shite what I think then you’ve have a good laugh on me and I look like an even bigger fool

So thats what actually standing up and acting on ones beliefs id to the average conservative today? Symbolism?
Election day is when it matters. You can vote for Ghengis Kahn in the primaty but if you vote for Jimmy Carter in the big show, thats the agenda you voted for. Because unlike some people that have deluded themselves believe, there is no such thing as ‘against’. Whatever goes on in the voters head to rationalize the situation is not the result of what goes on the ballot. It’s just projection.
Romney’s actions were known. Romney was a famous liar. We all knew that. So what he told us was a lie and he proved it within 24 hours after his loss.
There is no point in defending a bad vote. He did not win and his own words and actions post election show he would have governed hard left if he had. It is pointless to scream bloody murder about the state of America under Barry and vote for the same in Republicanface.
No he might not have cloned obamas actions. His record in Mass shows us he would have been as bad in a different way.
Evil is evil. You want it or you don’t. If you vote for it and defend it in light of 2 years of evidence, you want it. The math isn’t hard.
That's pretty weak, coming from a:
A wild-eyed, drub-addled, faggot-loving, baby-killer, "who wants smaller government"...(Libertarian)
Thank you for taking the time to write.
I am confused. Nothing I said was meant to demean the South or anyone’s Southern heritage, including my own.
I was a bit annoyed with the person I was responding to and threw in my background of our family being Republican as I got wound up in my reminder to him of how principled the party once was—even liberal at a time and place when that was the position that advanced human dignity.
Both of my parents were from the south. While I was growing up we lived in the North. I found it hypocritical.
It was my fault honestly
Misunderstanding
Friendly fire
Since November 2014, we controlled the House & Senate. Since November 2014, The GOP leadership has given Obama EXACTLY 100%) of EVERYTHING HE WANTED
Vote stupid child!
Vote Establishment! VOTE LESSER EVIL!!
Oh wait a minute, there is no difference at all......never mind.
The only candidates I see with the kind of juice to line these guys out are Trump, Cruz or Walker.
Glenn Who?
Glenn just keeps going further over the edge.
By “him”, you are referring to to Beck, correct?
He’s mentally disturbed and in dire need of straight jacket.
Ironic that the author of, “Arguing with Idiots,” is taking exception to Trump’s tone.
