Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is up by double-digits on former secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Iowa and New Hampshire, according to a poll released by CBS News on Sunday.
The senator is drawing 43 percent support in the first-in-the-nation Iowa caucus, besting Clinton by 10 points.
Sanders is also drawing 52 percent support in New Hampshire, almost doubling Clinton, who sits at 30 percent support in the Granite State.
Clinton, however, doubles-up Sanders in South Carolina, drawing 46 percent compared to the senators 23 percent.
Vice President Biden, who is considering a run for the Democratic presidential nomination, places third in all three states, drawing 10 percent support in Iowa, 9 percent support in New Hampshire, and a strong 22 percent backing in South Carolina.
The YouGov/CBS News 2016 Battleground Tracker poll, conducted Sept. 3 10, surveyed 548 likely Democratic primary voters in New Hampshire, 528 in South Carolina, and 646 in Iowa. The margin of error for the poll is 5 percent.
be nice to Granny!
Hillary is toast.
And Bernie’s nutball economics resonate with more Americans than any of us possibly would want to believe.
Sanders has openly stated he is a confirmed communist and the liberals are overjoyed at hearing such. This race for the WH is getting really dicey. No matter which candidate the GOP pushes, he/she had better come out swinging pretty damned hard, we’ve gone down hill far enough already, we don’t ne a confirmed communist leading the country.
More tears Hillary. Voters need to see you cry.
She be bakin cookies.
Trump and Sanders in the lead.
Wow.
The RNC and others wanting to keep things the way they are; need to wake up.
People are getting pitchforks and torches and want things changed.
KARMA
The Buddhist belief that whatever you do comes back to you, e.g. if you do something good, something good will happen to you, and vice versa.
Hillary in a death spiral.
Sanders vs. Trump would say everything about the direction this handbasket is headed.
Maybe that should be my new tagline.
Are they that similar? Did you see that the UK went back to socialist? I think Trump is inevitable all the way to the top at this point. Even I have to admit that I'm sick of carefully measured political speak. I like Cruz a lot but he won't go far because he is too intellectual and just sounds like a smarter politician/lawyer.
I find mydamself wondering what it will be like with a Trump president.
Similar in their offbeat-edness? Yes, I believe so.
Similar in their anti-establishmentarianism? Yes, I believe so, although I'm less convinced about B.S.
Trump or No Trump (I still expect him to crash and burn sometime before November), I believe the Democrat is inevitable. The typical brain-dead American voter wants more sh*t. And everybody just KNOWs Democrats are all about the little guy and Republicans pander to evil rich people and their corporations.
Trump and Sanders. I will have to determine who my third party vote will be against.
Two or maybe all three of the women within ear shot of my office were all giggly about one of them knowing someone who was within 10 feet of Hillary yesterday. We're dooooooooomed! I swear it's subliminal programming that controls these women and other liberal voters.
