DUBAI (Reuters) - Iran has discovered an unexpectedly high reserve of uranium and will soon begin extracting the radioactive element at a new mine, the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization said on Saturday.

Because of this deal we will for the first time be in a position to verify all of these commitments. That means this deal is not built on trust. It is built on verification. Inspectors will have 24/7 access to Iran’s nuclear facilities. Iran will have access to Iran’s entire nuclear supply chain, its uranium mines and mills, its conversion facility and its centrifuge manufacturing and storage facilities. This ensures that Iran will not be able to divert materials from known facilities to covert ones.
What a shock they are 'just now discovering' new sources of nuclear material that cannot be monitored.

Years ago I was talking to a retired state department flunky who had been in the middle east. When I expressed fear that the Ayatollahs might get the bomb, he swished with one hand on his hip and the other with a finger held high and said, “Russia had the bomb for decades and they never used it.
