HELSINKI (Reuters) – Finland’s government on Thursday proposed increasing capital gains tax and income tax on high earners to help pay for a 10-fold increase in refugees expected to arrive this year, its finance minister said.

So I guess these people will be sincerely and eternally grateful for the handouts that they will get and that the Finns have their own truly needy (seniors, veterans, the disabled, the mentally ill) fully looked after or am I mistaken on one or even both fronts?

That’s a neat trick. Governments and politicians screw up the world then go pluck money out of citizen pockets to cover their failure. Politicians/governments should be paid according to job success and fined for failure.

They’re admitting up front that the ‘refugeed’ won’t be able to pay their way. Which destroys the ‘we need them for economic reasons’ argument right out of the gate.

When u tax behavior, u get less of it.
By taxing success, they’ll get less of it.
Meanwhile, when you finance behavior (like invading a country) you’ll increase the incidence of that behavior.
So they’ll have less success, and more invaders.
Funding the Jihad against them.
The sad thing is it is so avoidable. But then, we in America are nobody to talk about it and criticize what they are doing. We are falling into the same trap.
Very disappointing. The Finns have been so tough fighting off the Soviets.
And now this.

No cities to sack; no warfare. The Fins just surrender and hand their wealth to the invaders.
