Former Secretary of State Colin Powell came out in support of President Obama’s agreement to curb Iran’s nuclear program, calling it a “pretty good deal.”
Powell, a retired general who led the State Department under GOP President George W. Bush, said he had vigorously studied the deal and listened to arguments from both supporters and opponents.
“My judgment after balancing those two sets of information is that it’s a pretty good deal,” Powell declared on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
“The great concern from the opposition is that we’re leaving open a lane for Iran to create a nuclear weapon in 10 to 15 years,” he added. “The reality is that they have been on a super highway for the last 10 years to create a nuclear weapon … with no speed limit.”
Powell's position drew praise from Obama.

May the God of Abraham, Israel, and Jesus “deal” ever so severely with Colin Powell for his treachery against Israel and the US of A. And the same to everyone who architected this disastrous “deal” with Iran.
But they police it themselves.
I never was a big Powell fan.
Always thought this guy had a few screws loose.

Note he said that 10-15 years the plutonium on the shelf may not be applicable to then current use.

How in the world did Powell “study” this deal—given the documents are classified and even Congress has severe limitations in accessing them?

Some guy said it seemed like a good deal, so that's what happened.
It's actually an excellent deal for Iran! For the rest of us living, breathing humans here in the United States and in Israel, not so much.
