Washington (CNN)Republican front-runner Donald Trump said Friday that he wished a Kentucky county clerk, Kim Davis, was not jailed for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples, but he added that the Supreme Court has ruled and it is "the law of the land."

If it wasn't the Don; then someone else would wear the crown.
We will be able to tell who really stands with Kim Davis next Tuesday at 3pm.
So can my goat; and he's just as forceful as Trump!
HMMMmmm...
I've always thought Congress did.
With the POTUS merely NOMINATING them.
Is this anything like a...
... a POSITIVE 49% favorability rating with Hispanics?
While the vast mass of fans voters sit around and await this years set of Super Bowl political ads.
Humph!
After DeflateGate fizzled out; I’m gonna sit out this season and just play Fantasy Football!
BINGO! Trump’s first big screw up.
I believe it is quite fair to say that humanity has been and is being shown, the hard way, that not even “principles” will help you if the direct love for a personal, CARING God is not present. The bible isn’t a book from which we can tear pages about how to care for ourselves. It alerts and illustrates us from start to finish about a God that cares, and our biggest hurdle is to learn how to stop interfering with that.
It was not for mere happenstance that even the famous Ten Commandments (which Moses also warned the Hebrews that they could never keep — and he was right about them and it is true about us, we have all embraced the hateful devil) start off with a “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God.” Before saying anything else. For both Jews and Gentiles, this is the anchor point, the entry door. Anything less is just religion. We can be proud of it, but it will always propel us into disobedience.
It’s not like there was no warning about what was attempting to go down either.
But that also seems to be a weakness of a humanity that is distanced from God. Faced with a series of threats, even if they are preposterous, such a humanity will back down. And the GLAAD crowd has been quite “glad” to come up with threat after threat. They don’t “give a damn” how it looks, whether or not it calls to mind Count Dracula on wheels. It’s about power, baby, power.
He’s joshing. That’s Huckabee.
1. I promise to have love and respect for the planet earth and living things thereon, especially my fellow species--humankind.
2. I promise to treat all persons everywhere with dignity, respect, and friendliness.
3. I promise to have no more than two children, or no more than my nation suggests.
4. I promise to use my best efforts to save what is left of our natural world in its untouched state and to restore damaged or destroyed areas where practical.
5. I pledge to use as little nonrenewable resources as possible.
6. I pledge to use as little toxic chemicals, pesticides, and other poisons as possible and to work for their reduction by others.
7. I promise to contribute to those less fortunate than myself, to help them become self-sufficient and enjoy the benefits of a decent life, including clean air and water, adequate food and health care, housing, education, and individual rights.
8. I reject the use of force, in particular military force, and back United Nations arbitration of international disputes.
9. I support the total elimination of all nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons of mass destruction.
10. I support the United Nations and its efforts to collectively improve the conditions of the planet.
FAIL.
Donald - YOU’RE FIRED!
Next candidate please?
The marshalls are going to obey the judge. Thus Kim Davis is in jail for not obeying the judge.
The solution is simple and legal: The County Sheriff is the chief law enforcement officer in that jurisdiction. Have the County Sheriff arrest the Federal Marshalls and free Kim Davis.
Make Commander Xero send troops.
Ok thanks I will, God bless you too. :)
I’d say, the correct answer is say “It should be up to the states” though some people aren’t even in agreement with that, they want it in the Constitution which would be difficult but honestly, States should decide it as they have regulated marriage always. Cousins Marriages and so on.
So was slavery at one time
What makes you think anyone will?
No, it isn’t.
It was a 14% positive rating, a 65% negative rating, with 21% who hadn’t decided one way or the other.
And that isn’t a good thing either.
