Rubio: Trump's foreign policy answers 'very concerning'
The Hill ^ | 9/4/15 | Mark Hensch

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) is questioning Donald Trump's foreign policy chops after the GOP presidential front-runner appeared to stumble in a recent interview.

“If you don’t know the answer to these questions, then you are not going to be able to serve as commander in chief,” Rubio said during a stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico, according to CNN.

“This should be part of the reason why you are running, because you understand the threats that the world is facing, you have deep understanding and you understand what to do about it,” he said without naming Trump. “And if someone doesn’t, I think it is very concerning,” added Rubio, himself a 2016 candidate for president.

Rubio’s remarks follow an uncomfortable exchange between Trump and radio host Hugh Hewitt over international affairs earlier this week.

Rubio’s policy on immigration, the border and national security is very concerning.

He isn’t worth $10 B. Not even close. He is lucky if he is worth what he inherited, adjusted for inflation.

Hmm...sounds like you have a little axe to grind.

“President Obama, we have al-Baghdadi targeted and awaiting your authorization to terminate him.”

“Uh, let me think about it. I’ll let you know in three or four days.”

Trump’s first hours in office:

“President Trump, we have al-Baghdadi targeted and awaiting your authorization to terminate him.”

“Who the hell is Baghdadi?”

“He’s the head of ISIS.”

“Permission to terminate.”

And, I’ll bet you are wrong. Look at all the hotels and golf courses he owns. We are talking about assets - not necessarily cash on hand. I suspect it is you who is clueless on this.

There are only 6 questions he needs to ask

Who are they?

Are they friend or foe?

Are they a threat to the U.S.?

If we have to, can we kill them and wipe out their organization completely?

When can you start?

Past that, I dont care if a candidate uses copies of Foreign Affairs magazine to wipe his a**.

Reagan was a strong alpha male. Are you going to compare him to Hitler, Attila, Caesar, and Henry VIII too?

Do you know how foolish your post is now?

This is either a political statement totally lacking in value, which is exactly what we are tired of, or a stupid statement because the Commander in chief's value is in making foreign policy decisions when presented with the current facts, not as an encyclopedia of information which will not be current facts but history by the time he takes office.

Man, Rubio is annoying.

He has to say something. His chances of getting a statistically measurable vote are fading fast. Everything he says is a Hail Mary pass.

Ask Rubio and others a bunch of inside-baseball questions about the stock market, trade deficit, global economy and let’s see how they fare.

Trump’s right on this, why would he memorize a list of terrorists when he’s running for President, a candidate. As he said, he’ll know everything about them if he’s President.
