Conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt found something Donald Trump doesnt win at on Thursday knowing his terrorists.
Im looking for the next commander-in-chief, to know who Hassan Nasrallah is, and Zawahiri, and al-Julani, and al-Baghdadi. Do you know the players without a scorecard, yet, Donald Trump? Hewitt asked the 2016 Republican candidate, referring to the respective leaders of Hezbollah, al Qaeda, Jabhat al-Nusra, and the Islamic State.
No," Trump said.
"You know, Ill tell you honestly, I think by the time we get to office, theyll all be changed. Theyll be all gone, he said. I knew you were going to ask me things like this, and theres no reason, because number one, Ill find, I will hopefully find General Douglas MacArthur in the pack.
Trump said asking him who the key players were was a type of gotcha question.
I will be so good at the military, your head will spin. But obviously, Im not meeting these people. Im not seeing these people, Trump said.
"Now as far as what youre talking about now, I will know every detail, and I will have the right plan, not a plan like this where were probably going backwards based on everything that Im hearing, but were probably going backwards, zero respect. We have, we are not a respected country, and certainly as it relates to ISIS and whats going on, and Iran."

He was selected by CNN for a reason...and we'll find out the reason the night of the event.

He was all in for Romney, twice.
The self-appointed "guardians of the Reagan Legacy (tm)" can go pound sad as far as I'm concerned. Hugh was a General in the losing Romney Army. As such I am not interested in following him into battle.
We tried your plan, Hugo, and it failed.
Funny, in 10 years of having a fairly decent nationwide radio program you never managed to get around to starting a nationwide conversation on "birthright citizenship" or Mexican criminality.
Trump did.
Pound sand, loser.
George Soros is worth 5 times what Trump is. And Soros started from nothing.
Is his vision better than Trump’s?
All I care about is that Carly Florina knew some of the names. Thus proving she’ll be great for Trump to hire as his VP and delegate the specifics to.
Sadly, the Donald has a lot to learn in the foreign affairs area - he continues to say that we shouldn’t have gone into Iraq because the area was “stable” - in fact it was a powder keg ready to go off - Saddam was a Sunni running a minority Sunni regime in a majority Shiite country by way of a reign of terror that had him killing tens of thousands of his own people every year to hang on to power - he had won two prior wars against Shiite Iran with the help of the US, but after Kuwait, we weren’t going to help him again - his army was badly weakened after the Kuwait disaster - the pictures along the “Highway of Death” showing hundreds of his burned out military vehicles and the way his military collapsed in a few weeks when we entered Iraq suggest that he wouldn’t have lasted for long against the next Iranian incursion - so by now it’s very possible that without our having gone in, Iraq would by now be under the control of Iran, including the 500 tons of yellow cake - ie nuclear weapon raw material - that Saddam had collected and which was transferred out of Iraq after we took over.....
Seems to be Trump’s answer to a lot of issues: “I don’t know who or how or what, but I’ll delegate it to someone who does.”
I’m fairly amazed that’s worked for him this long - with some folks. Don’t think it will much longer.
I wouldn't be surprised since the idiot couldn't even talk to little grade school kids without 2 teleprompters. Sheesh! I hope a behind the scenes expose about his incompetence comes out after he's gone.
That one was an easy question to field. It is not a gotcha question. It was a stupid question. Trump like Reagan will set policy and focus on the big picture. Trump will hire people to keep track of the details.
They’ll all be gone, probably with Obama doing some post Presidential party scheduling. You know, clubbing, coke, limo rides, some gay relations and what have you!

I have felt that Hewitt is smug. I am glad I am not alone.
I am sure we can all remember W. not knowing the name of the President of Pakistan and fumbling it away with sayong his name was General
I would think if anyone does not know who Nasrallah, Zawahiri, and Baghdadi are, they are low information people. Julani, the leader of the al Nusra Front, can be forgiven if not recognized. If someone has read newspapers for the last 15 years and has some long term memory should know these names without a doubt. It would be like a candidate in 1968 saying they do not know which countries that Ho and Mao guys lead.
B$. Mitt isn't running.
Do not exaggerate. That could classify you as either lacking knowledge or just plain not telling the truth.
Soros is worth 27 Billion. Trump is worth 10 Billion.
That is not five times as you claim unless you failed 2nd grade math.
Another point...Soros has done zero business in main street economy. All his money is from shuffling paper which means buying and selling stocks. Soros built nothing, manufactured nothing, hired no workers to do real work. But like another similar paper shuffler, Buffet, Soros is good in picking stocks. So he is a visionary in the stock market.
The country does not need a stock picker. What is needed is someone who has hired tens of thousands of workers, and built real things which people find useful such as residential buildings, office buildings, hotels, retail shops, golf resorts, casino buildings, skating rinks & hotels. Not only Trump built all that, he finished most projects under budget and ahead of schedule.
In summary if you can not understand the difference between a Soros and a Trump, you got long ways to go in life.
Just listened to the interview, and it is stunning that someone running for the presidency is this ignorant. Trump not only does not know who Nasrallah is, but does not know what Hezbollah is either. If a candidate professed this degree of ignorance 60 years ago, they would have been laughed out of the race. Today, it seems no big deal. As a people, we have sunk to a sad level. Right, Left, Center, our politicians display a level of ignorance and low brow rhetoric that would horrify the likes of Clay and Webster.
$2 Trillion added to national debt.
Thousands of our brave young soldiers killed.
Tens of thousands of our soldiers maimed.
Iraq is splintered.
ISIS became reality.
No WMD’s were found.
Iran is calling shots in Iraq.
Iraq war was unmitigated disaster, the biggest blunder in foreign policy since Vietnam war, another horrible foreign policy blunder.
Trump is completely vindicated on opposition to Bush-43’s Iraq war blunder.

>>>”You do not like smart businessmen with ability to see whats coming? It is called vision! That is why Trump is worth $10 Billion and we arent.”
But Soros is worth more. Why isn’t that more “ability to see what’s coming” and more “vision”?
“...does not know who Nasrallah is...”
-
Who in the hell is that?
And who gives a flying crap?
Our problem is not Nasrallah. Our problem is country rapidly deteriorating into 3rd world hell hole. There is nothing more idiotic than putting our nose in the middle east with $19,000,000,000,000.00 national debt. We are borrowing from China & Japan to fight wars in the middle-east to protect oil flow to China & Japan from the middle-east. We have enough oil. We do not need M-E oil.
Trump is right. Our leaders are indeed stupid.
