Wednesday on his radio show, conservative talker Rush Limbaugh discussed the backlash within certain conservative circles to the candidacy of GOP front-runner Donald Trump. Limbaugh specifically focused Wall Street Journal columnist Bret Stephens, who unleashed a scathing attack in the Journal earlier this week aimed at Trump and his supporters.

I misspoke Prager isn’t for trump but not against him. He is evolving
I think Trump thinks of himself as conservative but he doesn't understand what conservatives mean by the term.
I also think he is the only one who is firm on illegal and legal immigration.
And, before you question the one trick pony aspect, I have read two of his books and agree with him on taxes, healthcare, the military (including taking care of Vets) law and order, education, and other things I can't think of off the top of my head.
I misspoke again. Column form 2011 Prager does not like Trump

You nailed it, though also Trump is shaking up both parties and the media beholden to the powers that be, which is also worthwhile.
These media elites who are so much closer to Gd than us peons NEVER DID ANYTHING TO HELP US RECLAIM WHAT SHOULD BE OUR COUNTRY AND OUR GOVERNMENT. OF, BY, AND FOR US. They just sit with sticks up their butt and chat about their team. Both sides do this.
It isn’t about which jersey Trump wears. HE IS HELPING US GET OUR COUNTRY BACK. It’s not what he will do as President, even. He has already shaken up the power structure in DC. He has ALREADY DONE MORE for us than any other candidate out there, while running. In addition to what he promises re immigration.
You are absolutely correct.
Another thing to remember is that everyone who knows Trump talks about how loyal he is. If he is elected I believe he would be loyal to those that got him there.
I think it will be useful to try to keep tabs of the expressed views of various public figures concerning Trump and the issues he has raised for this upcoming election, and to get a rough idea of the "bedfellows" among those public figures who share your own views. Thanks for making the list. Great idea!
Great lists!
(And then, they would probably say the U.N. has not approved it...)
BTW: Jim Robinson said he would vote for him in the general election if he got the nomination.
You'll have to ask Geoffrey..........
Very informative, very interesting post. Trump success has frankly surprised even me! He is leading in 49 states! I think Kasich is ahead in Ohio.
P2016 IA GOP (Loras): Trump 25%, Carson 18%, Bush 10%, Cruz 7%, Walker 6%, Fiorina 5%, Huckabee 4%, Rubio 4%, Kasich 3%, Christie 2%,Paul 2%
Iowa is the tricky state because only caucus attendees can vote. No anonymous voting by mail like in my state (Washington), party registration and picture ID required?
Dr. Friedman’s student, my hero Thomas Sowell, does not have much positive to say about Trump. Very disappointing. Rush’s comments were refreshing and a masterpiece.
Yes, I like it. Simplifies things to refer to certain talking heads as "Tory media", too.
I don’t think Trump is a conservative, I think he’s a wrench to throw into the wheels of The Cheap Labor Express.

Doesn't have time for political correctness.
Not afraid to call out either party or both when they are wrong.
Not a puppet to rich campaign donors.
(It's also good to see that "JR" has a positive view toward Trump, and could vote for him if it gets to that point. I respect his views.)
Today, Rush Limbaugh also sounded to me like he was sort of pleading with Trump to stay in the battle all the way, and not let down the many people who are now placing their hopes in him.
(I have to leave this thread right now, but I'm going to try to check back later to see if there is any more discussion here about all these things. Things are getting interesting out there, as are these discussions.)
Thank you. I appreciate the note. I agree with your thoughts. Take care.
