You Should Go See the Pyramids |
You are very giving - so giving that you occasionally get taken advantage of. You let yourself escape whenever you need to. You don't think there's anything wrong with a little daydreaming.
You get easily swept away and are a total delight to fall in love with. You are prone to whirlwind romances. You are a mystical person at times. You believe there's more to this world than what you see. |
Just could not resist: "See the pyramids along the Nile... "

Ooooo, YUMMY! It’s like Sambuco or Anisette- licorice flavor... Great in coffee, no kidding-only I think it may cancel out the caffeine... Lol!

Lol, I started young! My Grandpa would come over, and have a coffee royal- coffee with anisette and either brandy or whiskey. Then he'd sit me on his knee, let me blow on the spoon, and share it with me that way!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Grandpa!
I used to drink the foam off my Daddy’s beers. Hated the actual stuff and still do. Haven’t had any of the foam since I “grew up”. :)
Maybe I should try it again sometime! LOL!

Thank you, my Grandpa was a real treasure! Coffee royals were a staple among the Italian men I grew up around- we also used to get the foam on the beer- they’d pour it from real high up, right? And my Mom would dunk stale Italian bread in port wine and give it to me... By age 7, we were all connoisseurs! Lol!

Don’t miss Sri Lanka when you get over that way.
In the Philippines, you really should go to the American Cemetery, a spiritual moment.

A very pleasant good Wednesday morning to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks or your service to our country.
((HUGS))Good morning, everyone. Here is the result I got from taking this morning's quiz. Thanks for the thread this morning, LUV W.
You Should Go Visit the Empire State Building |
You work well with others. You appreciate the energy and strength of a team. You are impulsive and emotional. You have a dynamic life that is always changing.
You are energetic. You have a lively personality, and you never seem to tire. You like to stay productive. Having idle hands drives you crazy. |

Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Luvy, for preparing
the Canteen for todays activities.
You Should Go See Acropolis |
You can be quite academic in your approach to things. You are scholarly and bookish. You are high achieving. You perform well no matter what situation you're in.
You are resourceful and capable. You have an ingenious way of getting things done. You are very opinionated. And you never keep your opinions to yourself! |
Had hard time choosing some of the options.
Several options were very enticing
However, after a quick Canteen scan,
I see that I am in good company.
Need to get out as soon as I can
for a walk as it is sooooo
hot/humid, I'll probably be drenched
by the time I get back.
Please stay right where you are.
Keep the troops and their families entertained.
The Canteen is
Come on in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS
I am NOT ready for winter, and
it's slinking this way, very quickly.

Morning Beachie!
Well, I'm off today and will run a bunch of early errands before kicking back.
You're not ready for winter? Sheesh, you'll be retired and can just hide from the bad weather. Our weather is cooler and a hint of Fall is in the morning air.
OK, more coffee for me and a shower.
Have a great Hump Day!

Good morning Pro ((HUGS))
Sheesh, you'll be retired and can just hide from the bad weather.
You sound like Mr. Beachy when he's trying to convince me to move to Michigan! LOL
I'm a warm-weather gal and would have cabin fever pretty quickly.
So, today is lazy day for Pro, huh? Gotta work tomorrow?
Have a wonderfulicious Wednesday
