July Flashback:
Trump Still Leads GOP Field But Descent May Be Beginning
PPP’s newest national poll finds that Donald Trump is likely facing at least some fallout from his comments about John McCain over the weekend. Nevertheless we do find him narrowly leading the national field in our survey, which went into the field on Monday. Trump gets 19% to 17% for Scott Walker, 12% for Jeb Bush, 10% for Ben Carson and Marco Rubio, 8% for Mike Huckabee, 4% each for Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, and Rand Paul, 3% each for Chris Christie and John Kasich, 1% for Bobby Jindal, Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum, and less than 1% each for Jim Gilmore, Lindsey Graham, and George Pataki.

Jeb! also at 9% in the national Morning Consult poll.
I used to care where Hussein was born when it might have made a difference. But he was raised and educated Muslim in a foreign country, that we know. I also think he claimed international status as an applicant for student financial aid, hence the deep security surrounding his college records. It’s just a suspicion I can’t shake.
>> a GOP electorate that thinks Barack Obama is a Muslim and was born in another country
Think? I KNOW.
>> and that immigrant children should be deported.
Yeah, so what, you believe that’s a BAD thing? Boot ‘em all, big and small.
jbush needs to fall in the primary states.
There is no national primary.
jbush needs to have a crisis of money.
Obama supporters think 2+2=toaster
OH HOW THEY LOVE TO SAY Trump is dropping in the polls...
I can’t wait for him to come back out and start the ‘real’ campaign....
Trump is lining up his campaign, talking to people, visiting people...he knows his whole Presidency about right now, and after Labor Day, the msm’s; talking heads; GOPee; Dems; won’t know what hit them....and the other candidates except for Cruz and Carson are going to be wondering what the hell just happened....
Victories, I tell ya, Victories!!!!
Nah, everything with the 0bama’s are on the up and up.
Why, every presidential candidate spends millions upon millions of dollars to conceal relevant information. And I’m sure a good chuck of those millions went to the talking heads in the media to play along.
Sure, all Christians slip up on national TV and say they’re a devout muslim, then are gratuitously corrected by the likes of George Short-and-Obnoxious of ABC. And easy mistake to make for a devout Christian.
All presidential candidates have a fake SS# from Connecticut, a forged birth certificate, supposedly born in a hospital that just happened to purge all the records just weeks before Sheriff Joe goes looking for it.
Why would any rational citizen think something stinks to high Heaven?
And this wrong.....WHY? Ask Loretta Fuddy where she thinks zer0 hails from.....oh wait!
Hey, I'm not a Trump supporter, but Obama's statements and actions have convinced me he that he has declared jihad on America wherever he was born.
I things for sure. Obama has Muslim daddy issues!
LOL, Obama is reaping what he sowed.
I don’t think people support Trump because Obama has done nothing to disprove he’s a muslim born in another country.
They support Trump because Trump has answers to our problems, has a proven track record managing large organizations, and loves America.
“Our new poll finds that Trump is benefiting from a GOP electorate that thinks Barack Obama is a Muslim and was born in another country”
Ya think?
I don’t know where he was born, but that so-called “Birth Certificate” is a fake.
When he said he was glad to be in the Middle East, where "the Koran was revealed to Mohammed," that clinched it. No Christian could utter those words.
At most he could have said "where Muslims believe the Koran was revealed to Mohammed." That would be a true statement, which even I could utter. But he revealed that he wasn't a Christian when he ascribed true revelation to the Koran.
Hussein is a mohammedan probably born in another country.
Why would 49% of anyone want to keep birthright citizenship? Of what benefit to Americans is it?
Our new poll finds that Trump is benefiting from a GOP electorate that thinks Barack Obama is a Muslim and was born in another country, and that immigrant children should be deported. 66% of Trump's supporters believe that Obama is a Muslim to just 12% that grant he's a Christian. 61% think Obama was not born in the United States to only 21% who accept that he was. And 63% want to amend the Constitution to eliminate birthright citizenship, to only 20% who want to keep things the way they are.
Two thoughts:
