You wish he had named names . . . On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough flatly stated "I do blame it on cable news" for "people wearing uniforms being a lot less safe today than they were before Ferguson."
So just which cable networks did Joe have in mind? Until last week [when he was relegated to the Sunday morning desert], Scarborough's own MSNBC was the Al Sharpton network. So surely Scarborough was pointing the finger at least partially at MSNBC. But as he continued, Scarborough also identified other unnamed cable networks that he accused of "glorifying" Vester Flanagan and "promoting the next Roanoke-style shooting" by displaying his Twitter feed and other such info, which is what killers like Flanagan seek.

Scarborough blames “cable news” for making cops less safe.
Ping to Liberal Media Criticism list.
MSNBC needs ratings. Fox News has abandoned conservatives. Is MSNBC changing its attitudes, to earn that audience?
Why doesn’t he go to the office next door and tell Sharpton to stop it? He is closer to the problem than anyone watching on TV.
Joe always does what his puppet masters/check signers tell him to do so it could be an indication of MSNBC change.
What, it’s not Bush’s Fault©?
How about interns found dead in the bottom of a parking garage stairwell, Joe? Who do you blame for their lack of safety?
Scarborough actually publicly thanked his MSNBC boss last week for cancelling Sharpton’s daily show and relegating him to the desert of early Sunday morning.
Carol Costello on CNN this morning showed clips of the Blacks chanting about pigs in a blanket and frying them.
She just could not understand how her guest could link those making the chant to the execution of the Texas officer.
She went on to basically claim ignorance that we don’t know what the motive of the [alleged] killer was.
[CNN sure does not mind replaying that chant clip over and over and over and over. Then, they want to claim they are not part of the problem — they just report the news.]
Thanks for watching, Mark (I haven’t in years). You’re remarkable at “deprogramming” yourself.
Many thanks, PG!
It's not cable news, it's a racial war on cops by people of color.
He can’t because Sharpton is a “leader” of a protected minority.
Even though MSNBC has taken away Sharpton’s daily show and cut his visibility dramatically, he is still protected.
Anyone knocking on his door and saying “hey slick, turn down the volume and bile a little” would find themselves hit with charges of racism and whatever else Al could pull out of his nether extremity.
Yeah, let's blame cable news.
I would place much of the blame on the POTUS, FLOTUS, and the ex-USAG. Their insane rants and commentaries embolden the idiots who have done the horrific murders.
