Donald Trumps press conference in Dubuque, Iowa went off the rails fast on Tuesday night when Univision anchor Jorge Ramos started questioning the candidate even though he had not been specifically called on by him.
Excuse me, sit down, you werent called. Sit down! Trump shouted at Ramos as he protested, I have the right to ask a question.
No you dont, go back to Univision, Trump replied, attempting to call on another reporter in the room. At that point, security physically removed Ramos from the room.
Moments later, another reporter confronted Trump about Ramos removal. I dont believe I ever met him, except he started screaming and I didnt escort him out, youll have to talk to security, Trump said. Certainly he wasnt chosen. I chose you and youre asking me questions. He just stands up and starts screaming so, you know, maybe hes at fault, also.
I dont even know where he is, he added. I dont mind if he doesnt come back, frankly. Later, when another reporter asked Trump why he wont take tough questions, he referred to Ramos as obviously a very emotional person.
Ramos later returned to the press conference room where he was able to confront Trump directly.
Watch video below, via CNN:
This will give Trump an additional 4-5 points in the polls.
I watched the entire exchange, and I agree 100%. Ramos came across as the sniveling little jerk that he always is.
Book?
What book?
Did you write a book?
You really don't recognize the phrase "Conscience of a Conservative," do you? Sad. Really sad.
I’ve read the book and you sir/madam, are no conservative.
Don't look now, but one of those sardonic salient points I was talking about you missing...just went sailing right over your head.
Again.
I’m no conservative because I oppose Trump? Whatever you say.
Nah, I got your point, nothing in your snarky post to me went over my head. (hint: you’re not nearly as clever as you think you are).
(another hint: if you, as you claim, live by the tenets of President Reagan, you *might* want to rethink your support for the statist liberal Trump).
“Why are reporters the story? I dont think that is their job.”
Although there were celebrity journalists before, there are clearly a lot more now, and that appears to be what draws a significant number to that profession.
...Reporters ask questions out of turn at press conferences all the time...
NEVER at a Barry Soetoro press conference
You are incorrect, sir.
At no time have I expressed support for the candidacy of Donald Trump.
The closest I have ever come was to remark upon how he has managed to get the panties of every GOPe and most of the liberal media and the liberals, proper, all in a wad.
I am very undecided, but leaning Cruz.
I encourage Mr. Trump to continue his turmoil, since in his own inimitable way, he is turning many republicans and GOPe's into thinking persons, again.
I think Barry would approve.
And yes, I am as clever as I think I am.
You have come onto the thread, tripped over the furniture and crapped on the floor. If you start strutting around like you won we will think we are playing chess with a pidgeon.
Trump is certainly pissing off the GOPe folks and the liberal media (though not the owners of said media — ratings are ratings, after all). My problem with Trump’s candidacy is that it’s sucking all of the oxygen out of the room for ALL of the other candidates (not just the Bushes/Christies of the world).
I’m a Cruz guy, and wonder whether Cruz will be able to get the traction he needs to win, the longer the Trump thing goes on...
Here’s when Ramos comes back.

It’s great, Then there is a bit more with Ramos at the end.
Trump refuse to be take tough question? Those weren’t tough question. He answered them already Mr activist. You just didn’t like the answer
Ramos, Like Illegal Immigrants, Can’t Wait His Turn - Gets ‘Deported’ from Trump Event.
If the media were honest and/or had any kind of backbone, then based on what really happened, then that’s really what the headline should read!
And he deserves every point...
Poor Jorge, hes used to candidates kissing his butt.
