Rick Wilson is a national Republican media consultant and campaign adviser.
Ive come to realize that the Obama Cult and the Trump Cult are two sides of the same personality-cult coin. The cognitive dissonance between what the Trump faction hated about Obama and what they love about Donald is so far beyond ironic it would take a team of trained linguists and semioticians decades to decode.
But Ill try.
You hated Barack Obamas cult-like followers, with their mindless stares of adoration, their impervious barrier between emotion and reason, and their instant fury when confronted with the facts about his record, his history, or his philosophy.
But you love it from Trump.

Rick Wilson is another RINO supporting sycophant. He is part of the problem, a member of the royal RINO elite court whose opinion and advice must be rendered irrelevant based upon the reality that they are irrelevant and as politically impotent as McCain and Romney.
Weak attempt by the eGOP to associate Trump to Obama. This makes the eGOP look pathetic and weak, as usual.
Dear Rick Wilson, I hate being lied to from both Obama and the GOP.
Put that in your keyboard and smoke it.
(or something like that)
Is he the one who leaked any whiff of poo about Sarah Palin (real or imaginary) so the press could slam her (likely because she was more popular than Johnny boy and I'm sure he just hated that).
Yep. That's something I am always leery of. Excitement, even fervor, are OK. Worship just goes too far.
This ain't a pep rally, folks, we need to keep our heads (then, if you want to get excited, go for it).
I own a business and get pressured into things I don't like but must do. (I am nowhere near the size of Trump's empire).
It doesn't fly well for me or Trump but it is the system as it is and it is wrong. I haven't heard one other politician complain about this evil gravy train but Trump.
Tilting at windmills
Admirably, you have a fertile imagination.
I would though, question your choice of fertilizer.
I haven't heard one other politician complain about this evil gravy train but Trump.
But he DID it. He complains about it, but he did it. No one twisted his arm; was he was so weak that he had to give money to Hillary for President? Really?
Doesn't that ring some alarm bells with you?
Another uniparty media whore trying another angle.
Yawn.
“This campaign has the bad smell of the 1998 Jesse Ventura campaig for Governor in 1998. I was there. I said it back then that Jesses campaign was a bad college prank that went awry. “
What you’re smelling is the stench of the gop faction of the uniparty. They’re exuding the same stench of collaboration that they have in every election since 1988.
Trump supported Hillary, Harry Reid, democrats for senate and congress. When asked to justify it: "I had to; it's the system; it's wrong..."
I really don't understand how anyone can accept this excuse - especially while simultaneously believing he's strong and tough and anti-establishment, (but too weak to not be rolled over by the "system").
It's just absurd to believe this.
;D
Well said!
I’d never heard of Rick Wilson either, but he’s certainly right on target.
The thing that has disturbed me about this more than anything is that so-called “conservatives” are now looking for their own man on a white horse - like Obama on his unicorn - who claims he’s going to save them, and they don’t even care what he thinks, much less if it’s conservative.
And they act just like Obama’s supporters. This is what over six years of living under a populist autocrat who hates our Constitution and our system has done to us.
The GOP/RINO elites tell him to jump and he asks "how high?" on the way up.
I'd love to blame this on the Boy President, but I can't. Sadly, there have always been too many "OK for me, but not for thee" people around. :(
The Career Dissipation Lights are flashing in the eyes of GOPe consultants like Wilson, thanks to Mr. Trump and Senator Cruz.
We FReepers pay close attention to those hired by the candidates. Another one is Brad Dayspring, who works for Scott Walker.
Spot on.
This Wilson fool proved he has serious issues, with his recent tweet to Ann Coulter. Sicko.
I’ve seen little interest in the constitution from Trump. There’s no talk of restoring liberty and restraining government. Forth amendment, no use for that. Trump is about Trump.
It is what it is. Google Government bids or contracts and get a taste for how many organizations there are that allow and list government bids and help with the process. It might give you an idea how convoluted the systems is. Trump has some government bids (NYC skating rings is an example). He gave to everyone so they will answer his phone calls. Its bad for government but good for business.
