Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes released a statement on Tuesday about Donald Trump's renewed war on host Megyn Kelly.
“Donald Trump's surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at FOX News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise.”

On Tuesday morning Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade fired back, saying Trump is "out of control." At least 10 separate Fox News personalities publically rebuked Trump before noon on Tuesday, evidence that no one is being told to be nice to Trump from the powers that be.

So Trump holds grudges like an elephant? Ms. Kelly just comes back from her sudden vacation, and Trump simply attacked her?
As for the “Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism” bit, I thought the power that be at FNC itself said Kelly as a ‘star’, not ‘journalist’.

Trump knows that the more the media attacks him for being politically incorrect, the more he is positively viewed by the conservative base. Conservatives know that they have been sold out by boner, mc conner, and faux news. Let fox see hoe many viewers they have left when the dust settles.
Kelly comes back from her “sudden” vacation and immediately makes fun of Trump on her first show back...Trump was right to do what he did...

If Trump was advocating laws so women “MUST BE CALLED PIGS’ then it's important question. Since that was NOT THE CASE the only reason for the question was to make sure Trump knew the PC ‘rules’.
Her question was a waste of time and waaaaaay too PC for my taste. I'm not interested in knowing if liberal elites have ever said anything mean about NRA members either... (not that a liberal debate moderator would ever ask, but you get the idea..) Trump's not backing down on this, so what? She's not either - and either are the older men at Fox... they obviously feel Megyn can't stand on her own... They're wrong on this too. Megyn dished it out - and she can take it. If she can't take the heat she needs to get out of the kitchen... The FOX men need to have more faith in Megyn...she's a big girl now.

Trump IS a "politician". Has been for his lifetime. Supports Dems when convenient to him and now is pushing the populist outrage. He's very smart and savvy. But fighting old battles is not one of his strong points. He's got everyone's attention and now simply needs to keep repeating it long enough with good examples to soak into the lib brains. He's already won over conservatives.
