Donald Trump's bromides on undocumented immigrants appear to have deeply damaged whatever appeal he might have once had among Hispanic voters.
A new Gallup poll released Monday evening found that 65 percent of Hispanic voters say they have an unfavorable view of Trump, compared with 14% who view him favorably - yielding him a net favorable score of -51, well below any other presidential candidate.

51% of hispanic vote democrats anyway, so what’s the difference. That’s like showing a poll where it says 90% of blacks disapprove of republican. 90% black vote democrats anyway
Well some other poll just came out today giving him 36% of the Hispanic vote. They don’t vote GOP anyway they mostly vote Dem no matter who is running.
Trump needs to just get out the GOP base, take a good share of the Indies and some Dems and he’s in the Whitehut. :-)

Those people are not supposed to legally vote anyway. Get a true citizenship paper and then we can discuss if/if not you like Trump.

The deal is that the Democrats have a very specific way of winning. Clean up with a massive majority in the black community and a reasonable majority in the Latino sector and hold their own in the White population. Lots of white guilt.
The White guilt is OVER. Few except for the most Liberal none will vote Democrat and of many that will not vote Republican they will not vote at all. The Democrats have been so open border and so pro illegal over that of Blacks that they are starting to lose the blacks ever so slightly. A drop from 90% vote of blacks for Democrats to a fall of 80% of Black votes renders Democrats unable to win.
Add to the fact that they have NO excitement in their party and there it is becoming less likely Democrats maintain the White House this cycle.
Republicans can win in off-year election cycles, but not presidential election cycles with this low of support.
That doesn’t mean Hispanics need to be pandered to, but obviously the current strategy isn’t working for Trump.

Blatant pandering to Hispanics should not be embraced, but the current strategy obviously isn’t working for Trump.
Modify, modify, modify.
The GOP is going to lose the invader vote anyway. Why cater to them? It makes no sense.

-7 for Cruz is one thing, and may not be thoroughly baked in negatives. Cruz could have a 60% negative and 40% positive and easily win the election.
I don’t see how -51 isn’t thoroughly baked in.

I will be delighted when Trump goes after the minority vote. He has said he can win them. I want him to try and do just that.
La Raza does not yet run the country. Trump is the only one to knock the legs out from under their chair. Leaders can do extraordinary things.
Closer to three quarters. I believe Willard, who went out of his way to be nice, managed only 27%. And most of that quarter overwhelmingly sees themselves as Americans first and not as a superior race entitled to special rights. The only way that number goes down is by diluting them with the La Raza Uber Alles types.
2,138 in the sample size is pretty massive and should remove any potential misgivings.
Or do you have proof that there were illegals polled?
Oh, I know, headlines from libbbberal polling outlets like Reuters and CNN - their headlines showing good polling numbers for Trump should be embraced - OTOH.

Poll was probably of 10,000 Hispanics and they selected 100 for their results. Makes sense to libs.
