I'm thinking Trump/Cruz 2016 would be a very, very powerful ticket

Posted on 08/20/2015 6:58:20 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

Although I would prefer Cruz, I would have no problem voting for TRUMP. Adding a conservative mastero in Cruz to an Anti-Establishment (both parties) populist in Trump would be a winning team in my mind. Trump is a moderate all right but not a Republican Establishment kind-of moderate as in willing to back-stabbed conservatives because these moderates are really libs that just wouldn't make in the Democrat Party. So adding a conservative firebrand in Cruz who are probably Trump supporters second choice and vice versa would be a wining team that would rattle a weaken Hillary, an misguided socialist Bernie or a possible Biden ticket. With Trump's age, who knows if he would serve just one term and pass it on to a Vice President Cruz if not later on

Islam is, WAS, and always will be contrary to all things good. Anyone (Fiorina) who thinks otherwise is grossly ignorant and very dangerous if in any leadership role.

I hope you care enough to google info on Carly praising Islam after 911 andmake an informed decision about her based on her own pandering words.

Perhaps you are due an apology but please see this from my viewpoint. After having to defend myself from so much criticism for believing in DT, seeing your remark caused my eyes to bleed and ‘wherever’. It was late, just having had a conflict with one who can’t see the forest for the trees, I was clearly in protect mode and, failing to see your smiley face at the end of the message, I only struck back. If you feel you are due an apology, please accept this as such. And, it was late, the smile might have been missed as the eyes were half shut. Truly, would it help to say I am sorry for lashing you? I am as it was misdirected. Hand shake?

VK - No need for sorry ... I was having fun and the smile did not leave my face. Emails and internet posting ... sometimes the tone is hidden and things go bad. Whatever my tone seemed, it never dropped into serious or frown ... ‘may you get lost on the way to the poll’ is similar to a wish to a competitor ‘I wish you well but not success.’ And it looks like maybe you actually like Donald so the entire exchange ... well we were probably jousting with figments of our imaginations. The internet is going to spark a nuke war some day due to a typo.

You're late. I updated my tagline a couple of weeks ago.

Trump is an outsider. He needs a Washington insider to deal with Congress Ted fills that blank perfectly. Sort of a Bush/Cheney ticket.

I can't see a Cruz/Trump ticket because Trump would be bored to death as VP. I doubt he would accept the position.

8 years of Trump and 8 years of Cruz. Wow the possibilities are mind blowing.

He better not pick a Stockdale or we’re screwed.

If Hillary picks Sanders for V.P., Cruz would be able to take apart his socialistic philosophy nicely.
