Roy Buchanan is an old favorite, I’ve been listening to that song in particular since it was released in the 70’s. And by the way that’s Steve Cropper doing the first guitar lead. (Blues Brothers movie, studio work for everyone in the known universe...)

Having computer problems this evening, but I couldn't let this theme go by. Hat tip to my Father, who introduced me to this song of his youth a half-century ago. Celui-ci soit pour vous, Mon Père!

Raise: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme. (One of them must be a color!?)One of the definitions of sage is a shade of green, so that works. Okay, this might be the trump. I googled strange color names and cross listed them with song titles.
Xanadu is "the gray-green color of the philodendron leaf" and the title song of the musical of the same name sung by Olivia Newton-John.

I enjoy this trip down memory lane. As I was thinking of song titles, one from my childhood came back to me. Does anyone remember the minor hit by Herman’s Hermits called Green Street Green? I haven’t thought of that song in years.

Sorry about your computer problems, and hope they are resolved! I HATE when that happens!
LOVE that song...by anyone. Bing Crosby was my daddy’s idol in the music world.

Good evening, Luv!
*HUGS*
The computer problems are bad - not sure if we can save this one.
Deep Purple: I remember a day over fifty years ago - I was in the car with my Father - funny how so much of the lore I learned from him was learned there! We were talking about pop music and he mentioned "Deep Purple." He said it was the number one hit for a very long time in his early teens. - that would be in the late 30's and early 40's.
He sang it to me, in his resonant baritone - with a little training, he could have become a great singer - his untrained voice was strong.
He sang that song and I was captivated.
God, how I miss him!
