For those of you who are unfamiliar with him, Rabbi Jonathan Cahn is a the best selling author of both "The Harbinger" and "The Mystery of the Shemitah."

Cahn is a Messianic Jew, and a devoted man of God.
I believe what he speaks is prophetic, and his words echo sound and true.
The dire warnings to America he spoke of our nation's race towards Godlessness (and looming judgment) in "The Harbinger" are eerily coming to pass.
Even more dire, Cahn has discovered that the ancient Shemitah cycle of 7 years that God ordained in Leviticus also follows recent patterns in America indicating economic and other calamity at the end of the Shemitah for a nation that walks away from God. What the Lord intended as a blessing every 7 years becomes a curse and judgment for the nations that curse the Almighty.
This coming end of Shemitah is also a "Super Shemitah", meaning that it ends a pattern of seven (a number God uses to mean completion) Shemitahs of 49 years, ending in the Biblical year of Jubliee.
We also have the last of the Blood Moons coming in September, and this will be a "Super Moon", closer to the earth and appearing about 14% greater in size (full perigee) and 25 times brighter than a micro moon.
Rabbi Cahn's message is about 13 minutes long, and located HERE.
It is all not doom and gloom, but full of wisdom, encouragement, and prudence. I urge anyone reading this to watch it.
Cahn reminds us that God does not have to act, that is up to Him, and His timing. However, the wise heed advice, and prepare. Spiritually first, and then physically.

Bless you. It is important to keep our hearts open to God, and when He speaks, to heed Him as you are going. I have been motivated by God lately. The first was that the Holy Spirit convicted me of some sin in my life that I had not dealt with. God disciplines those He loves. Next, God is prompting me to get ready for........something. He has not revealed the “what” to me. I just know that getting supplies ready and stocked is a wise course of action right now. I would not have come up with this on my own, but God is leading me to do so.

I agree. I have begun to be awed by the occurrences I’ve been encountering (conversations, changes to events and plans) that are all leading to September.
I think we lose sight of G-Ds plan as it involves our day to day, average life, and think and see His guidance in the big, life changing events. There now seems to be a guidance (out of our human hands) laying out what is ahead, but for reasons I know I don’t understand, we are being alerted to what is coming.
A young, college kid I’ve worked with this summer was describing right now as (StarWars reference) “a disturbance in the Force.” I concur.
Ok, I understand not everyone enjoys humor.
I read his books. The first was OK. The second was unreadable. It is ok to look at coincidences and make correlations. But without a statistical analysis, it is fear mongering. Also, like many, he simply repeats his few facts over and over and over. It is a thin premise after the first chapter or two.
Please understand, I don’t dispute that our world has become immoral and we’ve lost our way as a country.
I don’t even dispute that we are setting up for one helluva crash.
I am just not convinced it is a Jewish curse.

It’s interesting because God has been doing the same thing in my life as well.
There’s been some stuff I’ve been struggling with for some time that I have recently dealt with that is really long overdue.
One of the confirmations was a word someone spoke at church saying that God told them someone was planning a trip and His (God’s) word to that person was “Don’t go there!!!!”
It was less than 12 hours after God stopped me cold from buying the plane tickets. The very next day, was when I talked tor my friend and found out what he said. So in two days, I received the leading and got two confirmations.
I also realized later, that when I told him about it, it confirmed for him what he heard from God.
There was one more clear confirmation after that.
We have been struggling for awhile financially. We live (embarrassed to admit, but it’s anonymous here) pay to pay (not due to elaborate lifestyle—staggering medical bills). Due to our youngest starting college (and commuting to save money) we needed a third vehicle. We didn’t know how this was going to happen and the carpooling we have done for years wouldn’t work on a college class schedule. My husband took a great leap of faith, and we got the needed, affordable and reliable vehicle Monday.
Being honest (again ananimity) I was scared of the extra payment due each month. It kept me awake last night Out of the blue today (I was off) my boss called to see if I’m ok w/extra hours being added to the already posted schedule for next week. One of my co-workers got hired full time in a teaching job, so I have opportunity to make extra. That my co-worker was hired (at the last minute—school starts on Monday) is phenomenal.
I know that sounds like nothing to some, but given our family circumstances (and the fact that I’m even on this thread) really is one more of a series of huge “guidances” that have happened in the recent past.

I have read your previous post and respect them concerning your travels. My only living child, my son has to travel to Malaysia next month and may stop off here,(CA) on the way home to Texas. I am worried and asking for prayers for his safety. Also for USA.
I’ve read his book “The Mystery of the Shemitah” and it fits with other reasons for an economic collapse in Sept/Oct or close to those months. I hope it doesn’t happen but I don’t have normalcy bias so I know it CAN happen.

We are supposed to take a car trip to Ohio, New York state, leaving this coming Sat or Sun and be back around Sept. 6 or later, but Bob had a minor medical procedure and they found a heart anomaly and we’re going to a heart medical place tomorrow for more follow up and very likely won’t be able to take that trip. If it gets called off, I don’t care, would rather be at home in September.
I’ve been following this guy and linking people to his videos and books for a couple of years. That said, I was talking to my wife about September and all the different people who, for different reasons, predict serious calamity in this particular month.
What made him stand out is that he said very clearly that you can predict this stuff within not just the very day but the hour it happens.
This was huge for me because I already believed, before I ever heard of Cahn, that we were headed for that day of reckoning as a culture. What made him unique is selecting a date.
After talking to my wife, I decided to check to see if there were any new videos because we are just a few weeks away from his prediction. I did this because in our conversation I told my wife this is the first time I’ve taken one of these guys’ date setting seriously. It was because his date setting lined up generally with my own belief in timing within a few years. I had told her that if September came and went and his prediction did not come, it would expose him as a fraud and I could effectively ignore everything he said from that moment on. There would be no more waiting for “maybe November, or maybe April of next year, etc.”. REAL prophets didn’t string you along.
So my search for a video brought me to this one. Within it he hedged his bets before he got to the two minute mark. He essentially said it may not happen in September, but “even if it doesn’t happen, we need to be prepared”. Duh.
He backs off his date claim and becomes just another “futurist” under the TBN stable of performers who make a nice career out of scaring people with bible prophesy. Their MO is very clear and if September comes and goes he can enjoy his place in history among the likes of Hal Lindsey, et al.
Of course, if it DOES happen, never mind. But it looks like he’s had a change of heart as his (Cahn’s) date approaches. Very disappointing.
And what the heck is with his eyes in this video?
BTW, notice comments are off on this one? I suspect he knows there are people like me out there.
I’ll hold off judgement until after September, but read my post just before this one...
As soon as we are in October people will be coming back to this thread and they will not be laughing, scoffing, or making fun of a warning and a call to repent and return to the Lord.
