The government does not have the right to set an hourly pay rate.

If someone wants to pay their employees $15, $25 or $200 per hour to make pizza, that’s their decision. Happy employees are part of any business’ success. They can succeed or fail by their own merits.
But for the State to force it on everyone is just fascism.

Liberals are able to create and live in their own fantasy land, where everything is perfect. Everyone else, including business owners and employees have to live in the real world. Fantasies don’t do very well in the real world.

When a master Progressive plan comes together it fairly lights up the area for miles around with a halo of social justice and equality for all ... it is downright inspiring and hopefully they will hoard it to themselves in their Progressive utopias!!!

The elites will stop buying these pizzas complaining about too high a price. Then they will see unemployed students milling about wondering why they can’t get jobs or afford to eat. So of course the solution is to raise the minimum wage.
To: nickcarraway
The real minimum wage is $0.00. Libs forget that.

Sales at Gumpers locations have plunged 25% in the last few months, forcing Gumpers to close during lunch hours at some locations. Gumper admitted, The necessity of paying people a living wage in the Bay Area is clear, so its hard to argue against it, and its something Im really proud to be able to try doing. At the same time, Im terrified of going out of business after 18 years.
Wow...you can't fix stupid...

Closing during lunch? I’m not sure wage and price are the issue.

Let me see...would that affect their take-home pay? Typical deep thinking Liberal.

My Mother and I were just talking about how my grandparents came here in ‘57 and made .90 and .80 per hour and managed to buy a house and pay it off, implying that people today just don’t save( kind of true) I reminded her that my dad drove grandpa to work and grandma walked to work at the hospital, milk was $1 a gallon, ground beef .30 a pound, bread .20, eggs .55. We may have seen increases in wages but hell even I remember brand new cars for under $3000!

The Government can force you to pay taxes and fees on your business ever if you do not make a profit. They can force you to pay a high minimum wage.
But they cannot force your customers to buy from you to pay these mandates!
